I just started today! I was actually just looking for a group on MFP who was doing Insanity. Would love to have some support from others doing the program. Feel free to add me.
-
I'm starting back with MFP, too. I really fell out of the loop with my MFP circle. I'm back now, have the app for my phone, and will be on everyday! Sending you a friend request now.

Welcome aboard! Friend request incoming.

Hi everyone! I have Hashimoto's hypo and take Levothyroxine. My doc presribed Levoxyl, but my insurance switches it to the generic. It took about a year after starting treatment for my levels to get where the doc wanted them. During that time, I just kept gaining weight no matter what I did. My meds seemed to be…

When I reach my goal weight, I am most looking forward to bathing suit shopping. I have NEVER looked forward to buying a bathing suit, and I don't think I've ever own a bathing suit that I truly felt sexy or even pretty in.

It would definitely have to be my HRM! :-)

This should be a really easy question, but I'm not sure! I'm looking forward to a new wardrobe for work and for home. I guess I'll do a mini makeover--hair, clothes, makeup and then have the hubby take me out for a nice night on the town. :-) My goal just seems so out of reach right now....

I love both movies and books. In terms of movies, I tend to prefer romantic comedies, but it usually depends on my mood. I really enjoyed Love Actually. As for books, my interests are all over the map. (English was one of my majors in college so I've read just about every classic  ). I'm currently loving…

My excuse is the "I'm too tired" excuse. After a long day, I sometimes don't have the energy to cook and neither does my husband. He'll normally suggest going out to eat or ordering take out. I resist at first, thinking I'd rather eat nothing than eat what he's suggesting. However, I will normally cave and find myself…

I wish that my habits would have some long-lasting effect on my husband, but that's not the case. He goes through these cycles of eating healthy and watching portions, but then he lapses back to old habits. We'll eat a healthy dinner, but then he'll make himself some toast and a big bowl of cereal at 10pm, or he'll order a…

Hmm, this one IS tough. My favorite meal is raspberry chicken with red bliss potatoes and broccoli. As long as I hold the butter and don't overdo the potatoes, this is pretty MFP wothy as it is. Now, during the summer and being a New Englander, I always crave fish and chips and clam chowder. I haven't had this in…

I've set my goal based on a previous weight.... sort of. Though I struggled with my weight as a kid and teenager, there was a time (end of HS, through college) where I'd gotten down to 120-125 pounds. I still wasn't thrilled. Problem was, I wasn't very toned so I still felt like there was no way I could wear a bikini or…

I normally don't eat all of them back, but I usually eat half back. It depends on the day. Some days, I feel like I've done a lot and that makes me hungrier and I may eat them all back. Other days, I feel like I've been relatively inactive except for the workout so I won't eat many back at all. My average is typically…

Congratulations to everyone for a great week!!! :flowerforyou: Here's to another successful week for all of us! The last time I tried something new was almost two weeks ago--p90x. I was so intimidated by the title and by what I've heard about it, that I almost didn't try it. My husband had gotten the DVDs months…

This is going to be a very tough week for me time-wise, but I'm committed to continuing with my p90x and walking. I'm aiming for at least 80 minutes of exercise 6 days this week, for a total of at least 480 minutes of exercise for the week. Have a great week, everyone! :flowerforyou:

I'm in the Eastern time zone as well! I'm a New Englander. Picking one thing is tough. I would have to say travel more. I haven't been out of North America. I really want to visit Italy.

My celebrity crush would have to be Jensen Ackles from the t.v. show Supernatural. :blushing: So many crushes to choose from... sigh. He is at the top of my list. (Don't tell my husband. )

Good morning!! Let's see, my favorite fun activity that I do get to do pretty regularly is hiking/walking with my kids. I love seeing them explore nature and getting some exercise at the same time. I live near some really beautiful state parks with lots of hiking trails, and we take advantage of that for family outings.…

Mmm... There's an ice cream shop where I grew up and they serve homemade ice cream. Anyone who leaves the area and comes home to visit always ends up back at this place. So delicious. They even make their own waffle cones, and you smell it as soon as you drive up.... Mmm.. Must stop daydreaming about it. My…

This is a good question! It is nice to focus on the positives! I'm going to say that I like my feet. :) I think I'll do an at-home pedicure then prop them up this evening and give them a rest. :)

:flowerforyou: These are some awesome NSV's I'm reading!! Way to go! Here's mine: I actually went to the store and tried on a pair of shorts... a size smaller than I wore last summer. To be fair, I was busting out of my size 14's last year and my "shorts" were actually capris. These were shorts. Not "Daisy Duke" short…

First of all, I am so excited about starting this challenge!! I'm sneaking in a few moments to change my pic and answer this question. Okay, Here we go: I never thought I would tell a stranger this, but, when I was 14 through 20 years old, I wrote fan fiction with my best friend based on a t.v. show called Dark…

Hi! If you still have room, I'd like to join. first name: Val height: 5'4" reason for joining The Diamonds Challenge: I really think that I could benefit from having a partner with similar goals. In "real" life, I am going at this alone--no workout partners. I have support, but those in my family/friend circle are very…
