Since you have to enter your insurance #, do you think they bill your insurance?

I have cut back on my spices a lot, but I always count them, it can add up, but I also restrict my carbs more than you do. I do have 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon with cream cheese for desert every night, and although it adds to my carbs, that isn't something I am willing to give up!

Congratulations Shannon that is awesome! Welcome to the group. You will not find a better, friendlier, more supportive group out there!

It is really hard to have a different mind set on fat. I still find myself worring about it, even though I know better!

Thank you so much for each of you comments! It is great to hear what ways work for different people and where everyone is in their journey. Today is the first day for me to incorporate 'real' foods back in to my diet so I am going to start slow- with meat and go from there. Since I do feel so much better I am going to hold…

I buy the food lion brand, there are a couple of hard ones per bag, but I don't think they are that bad. I never paid attention to how they were made. My absolute favorite are salt and vinegar.

I don't remember when things started decreasing, but I am pretty sure I lost 80% of my weight in my boobs. I was pushing a D cup, and now a C is just a touch to big. My husband even asked what happened - lol!

In January into the first week of February I was eating 1500-1700 calories, I dropped the number - my goal is now set at 1250, but I usually eat 1400-1500 (and try to do cardio a few times a week - which could both help or hurt) and I lost 3 pounds in February.... which kind of sounds depressing to say out loud... but it…

like KnitOrMiss said, I just make sure there isn't an imprint from the tape - no bulge above or below. My thighs are the slowest to shrink as well.

I have made these before, they were pretty good, but you need a special pan. http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/sesame_seed_sandwich_buns.html

Good luck!

It was driving me crazy as well. I only weigh on Fridays now. If its higher then I just tell myself I probally missed a low day.
-
Best of luck. Remember it will get easier!

I tried them with bacon grease -- They were really good!

A few weeks ago I made my mom a birthday cake, and myself a dessert to eat as well. I made this: http://www.djfoodie.com/Blackberry-Clafoutis I thought it was excellent, but I have broken through the 'I want sugar' cycle -- for the most part. My mom and dad has some, and they thought it was good too. It is a little soft,…

I try to eat under 20 net, occasionally I will slip, I went a little crazy Saturday with the peanut butter, and I think I got up to 40, but that was the first time in a couple of months.

I like cream cheese with a touch of liquid splenda and hersherys dark coco powder mixed together. Fast & simple.

That is wonderful! Congrats!

That is awesome! Great job!

I have to pack at night, I usually do it when I make dinner. Your body has to burn something for energy! Do you have a fridge near you where you could keep a few pieces of cheese for days like today? I have a can of tuna and a little pack of mayo at my desk for an emergency.
-
It sounds like the packaging is wrong. I think it should be 21.5 carbs. Here is the data on the USDA website: http://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/foods/show/3667?fgcd=&manu=&lfacet=&format=&count=&max=35&offset=&sort=&qlookup=Almonds

I remember day 3 and 4 were rough, day 5 was a little better, and things went up from there. Just glancing at your diary it looks like you usually eat more fat by lunch. Could that be affecting you today? Whenever I eat a piece of cheese or something with more fat, it makes me feel much better.

Amazing! This reminds me of all of those early morning infomercials, without the gimmick!

Thank you, for the love -- I really mean it. As we all know it is not easy to loose weight. It really comes down to the daily choices and it is easy to loose sight of that and want to see the big picture. I am extremely fortunate not to have any other health issues that others have to contend with. I also feel like if I…

I think I need this as much as everyone else. I am having a rough time getting weight off right now, and it is starting to get to me. After I had my daughter in 2009, I wasn't really worried about my weight. I had gained 36 pounds during my pregnancy, and lost 25 of it within a couple of months. I didn't really consider my…

It is a process for sure, and it is amazing how different diets work for different people. My mom loves Weight Watchers, but I can't do it. I can't seem to eat 'a little' of something and be okay with it. One of my first 'off the deep end' was goldfish crackers. My daughter is 6 and that time it was one of her favorite…

I was on MFP for a couple of years before I added friends. It really helps!

Like everyone else said ketostix arn't great, I have them and use them occasionally when I get worried... of course, they can make me more worried. I event quit the keto diet once because I didn't think it was working. I have noticed when I test in the morning it is always very light pink or possibly neutral. In the…

They do look awesome! I have baked but never fried. Your 'sliced thin' reply made me think of potato au gratin. Has anyone tried that with radishes? It would probably take right many....

@RMath76 Amazing link! I will definitely use that. Thanks for sharing!
