I found another recipe for Greek yogurt on the internet - don't know if it's as good - haven't made either but plan too! Thanks for the recipe Chelsea! http://www.food.com/recipe/make-your-own-greek-yoghurt-168780

Use the recipe/calorie calculator in the food section of MFP. You add the ingredients you use, how many servings and MFP calculates everything for you - I use it all the time!

Sometimes it's hard to keep to your guns when the unexpected comes up - but don't look at the scale so much! If you weigh yourself more than just first thing in the morning you are weighing all that you've had to eat or drink in that time. With the sodium in the burger and tots - that will just add to the water weight.…

I had that happen last night, but knew in advance. Check online during the day for the nutritional info of any place you may plan to go. It will help you make a healthier choice when you're not on the spot to order quickly. Subway has several sandwiches that are under 500 calories (but they are pretty hefty on the bread).…

You have made a definite difference - you look great and should be really proud of yourself. Do yourself a favor and take your measurements! There will be times when you stall on the scale - but you'll see a reduction in your measurement numbers! I'm looking forward to a lose in the 30's - Keep up the great work!

Excuse(s) for not going to the gym/exercising: 1) The boys decided not to go when I picked them up from school. 2) I'm baking bread and have to be around to knead/shape/ferment, 3) Have to soak the horse's hoof or other livestock issues, 4) Phone calls got in the way, 5) Too many chores to get done today, 6) Unexpected…

I have a Polar Pacer (few years old) and I really like it. Have been known to forget it's on for hours after working out (if I move onto chores in my work out clothes!). Doesn't bother me at all - very accurate.

Thanks for sharing that. Congratulations on your perseverance and ultimate success! You have worked so hard - you will surely master the maintenance thing - now go reward yourself!

Don't give up and give in!! There are lots of factors that can keep you from losing as much as you'd hoped for as hard as you worked! Fact is, you still LOST!! And if you keep on track, don't be too surprised if you find you drop more than you expect another week. Stick with it, even when it's hard - you can do it!!

Not quite down the 2 lbs I was going for (1.9), but will work harder and get more exercise in - really want to make my mini goal at the end of the month - 7 lbs to go! What made it a little easier to swallow, was that I thought I was noticing a change in the way my clothing felt, and measurements proved correct! Lost…

Have heard so much great stuff about this video (and that it totally kicks your behind). I may have to go out and get it. Started the Slim in Six and found I could barely sit to "use the bathroom facilities" after 2 days. Heard Jillian's squats are even worse (read "better"). Good luck to all!

Good Morning! My weight this first week is 189.7. Small, but progress!!

Hi there and Happy New Year! All of us have come to this sight looking for support, motivation, inspiration, and accountability in helping us to achieve our goals so count me in as one who will be there too! I just started the week of Christmas (great timing, lol!) and have found that I think about what I'm putting in my…

For Super Fast, great protien breakfasts: 1) Put a slice or two of cheese on a piece or two of ham (or your meat of choice)and microwave for a few seconds until the cheese melts. 2) Cottage cheese. 3) Hard boiled eggs (as mentioned above). Make them deviled eggs with mustard and seasoning ahead of time for a change of…
