  • I received my JNL Fusion package yesterday! I'm very excited to start, I'm pre-viewing the workouts now. I agree JNL is slightly obnoxious... I wish every sentence fragment didn't elicit a finger point to the camera or pose-y bicep flex.... but I digress. Any of you ladies using the meal plan? And if so, is anyone else…
  • Yikes! I'd suggest healthy carbs like apples for energy (instead of sugary snacks), and some protein or fiber earlier in the day to keep you full, so you're not starving by the time 11 rolls around. My go-to study snack is a Fiber-One bar... only 90 cals, but it still has a bit of a sugar kick when you nee a boost. Happy…
  • I'd like to stay away from the refined sugars (Christmas cookies, chocolate, pie) for the most part, complete the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred workout program (today is day 3!), increase my running endurance, and improve my upper body strength so I can start rock climbing when I get back to campus in January!
  • On-campus; it's literally 30 feet from my front door. Buut on days I don't get to it until prime gym rat time (when every god-forsaken machine is taken by the DYEL crowd), I'll pop in a workout DVD and/or do some jump rope/jumping jacks/high knees in my room. You're welcome, dorm room right below mine.
  • I think there's a line, but it's not up to ANYONE but YOU to decide where the line is for you! If you get too jacked (and, from what I've been told, it's very unlikely without some supplements to help you along), you can always lay off the weights for a while. Don't let anyone intimidate you into looking the way THEY would…
  • I'm a college senior, living in the dorms and on the meal plan because I figured both would save me time. While having prepared food at my disposal can be convenient, there are a few aspects that are simply le suck. Today, for instance, the salad bar was shut down at 1:30 to prepare for restocking for dinner, as were most…
  • A day late, went out camping yesterday :/ It's been a real motivator to exercise/eat right even when I really didn't want to, knowing I'd have to post this weigh-in later! Keep up the good work, everyone! Weight as of 12/8/12:153 lbs Total weight loss in December: 2 lbs
  • There's many factors besides weight of the rider or the size of the horse, like terrain/duration of your ride, and your equipment. A saddle isn't just to cushion the rider's butt, it helps evenly distribute the "load" evenly. That being said, I don't think someone over 300 pounds has any business riding a horse! It's bad…
