  • Nice work! I love using the Concept 2. I use a hrm and keep my heart rate just below the anaerobic threshold. I normally go for about 25 minutes, and I feel great afterwards! I'm trying to get fit enough and in shape enough to get back in a real boat!
  • I like a lot about the Polar RS400, but it needs an infrared port to upload the data to the PC. Saying that, I really like it for hilly walking, rowing machine, exercise bike, and on-water activities. As others have said check out the in-depth reviews, and I think you need to know what you wish to use it for.

  • Cardio workouts are good for your heart health.
  • I enjoy walking the dog as a daily activity, but I also love rowing. I found rowing and dragon boat paddling good options because of the social aspect. I think having a goal helps to give purpose to the other workouts.
  • I believe that if you eat nutritious food it is easier to keep energy intake down, and walking is brilliant exercise.
