I've just heard that it can make your periods irregular and even read that it can cause your ovaries to shrink!!! xxx

Yes i think i would struggle with 5:2 too if honest. Sorry to be too personal but have you found 16:8 has affected your hormones at all? That is my main worry! xxx

Thank you all. I think i need to just stop over thinking it all - make sure my calories are lower (i.e. not pigging out every day) and stop overanalysing food - e.g. i keep worrying about eating foods that are not entirely "clean" when really i'm guessing it doesnt matter too much - it's more about calories! xxx

Thank you all for your advice. I have logged my day today - just seems i'm always going so over on my carbs. I find it hard to cut them down if honest but know for weight loss i'm going to have to! xxx

I did try to prepare my lunches this week...chicken, wholemeal pasta, pesto and broccoli & tomatoes. It just tasted so dry and horrible though :(

The idea is that you make smoothies...so mix the protein powder with fruit/veg, almond milk, greek yogurt. To make them the calories of a small meal.

Thanks all for your input....i think a shake for breakfast isn't a bad thing but think i will lay of replacing 2 meals a day with them. Apart from today as i've planned my day out to include one for breakfast and one for dinner :) xxx
