I guess if you wanted to stop tracking calories you could monitor how your clothes feel. If they began getting tight/too small, start tracking again. Catch weight gain early, before it becomes 10 lbs, 20 lbs, etc.

I've probably been "chunky" since about 10 or 11. In high school and early college I slimmed down, but I gained a lot more later. I would say I have been obese for about the past 4 or 5 years. Total about 15 of my 29 years.

If your boss doesn't have a problem with how you dress, then I wouldn't worry about it. There are some people that just won't be happy for others. Maybe there's more to this than you know about, or maybe it's simple jealousy. Either way, congrats on what you've accomplished and keep it up. :)

Right now my goal is set for 170 lbs, which is still considered overweight. Once I reach that, then I'll reevaluate my weight to decide what I want to do. My main goal is to have an abdomen measurement of 30 in or less.
