  • Wii Fit got real easy real quick for me. There are other games that are much harder you could maybe get. I stopped doing the 30 Shread on my own because it was making me gain weight. Maybe go out side walk/jog/run? Maybe get a jump rope?
  • I think it is awesome that you did this together. Just amazing!
  • I have had 2 babies. I have my share of stretch marks. Now that I have lost a lot of weight, I do have loose skin on my stomach, but for me it really isn't that bad. The stretch marks on my boobs have gotten small and very light in color. My husband says he finds all of it sexy because I carried his kids. I really don't…
  • What I have discovered recently are light soups. Any brand really, Progresso, Healthy Choice, Campbell's... 150 - 250 calories for a whole can of soup. I have stocked up. Perfect for lunch or dinner.
  • I personally don't think that is a small victory at all. That is huge! These steps along the way are what keeps me motivated. Congrats to you!
  • I can cross my legs and not be embarrassed that my foot sticks out. Now my foot goes down!
  • I have done that before to. I have picked up my son when he is asleep and kissed his head and told him I am sorry for the way I yelled at him earlier. Dang, I am tearing up.
  • Donated or recycled or threw some of the bad ones out. I did not feel the least bit scared or worried for getting rid of my fat clothes. Good riddance! I am never going back there again.
  • I, like the previous poster, have lost a bit and I went from a 40D to a 36C so far. I have 2 kids. The best I can tell you is to just start losing. If you are anything like me, the weight will come off everything.
  • Breaking the 200lb mark was a huge goal point for me as well. I went to Hard Rock in Yokohama, Japan to celebrate. Congratulations!
  • Go to the doctor. I know he doesn't want to but he needs to.
  • That is awesome! I went to the store the other day and tried on some clothes and had a similar experience. I was on cloud 9 for a couple days from it. It is a great feeling. Definitely makes you want to keep going!!
  • I can appreciate that you have a goal weight of 120. If that is how you think you will feel comfortable. But, I have a question. As far as your boyfriend is concerned, do you really think that 9 pounds will change your entire body where he will be completely just blown over with the difference? In your picture you look…
  • SWISS MISS SENSIBLE SWEETS hot chocolate!! 2 packets makes a fairly large cup of hot chocolate and it is only 100 calories. I love it and have it almost daily.
  • If you can get a step or something solid you can step up and down on, you can do steps. I do my wii fit plus step with ankle weights and it goes by fast when you watch tv or a movie.
  • I am in the Navy and I am trying to make weight for the first time since I have been in. I always have to get taped. Good luck!
  • This is exactly what I am talking about. Diets are almost always viewed so negatively. I also hate that word. I don't tell people I am on a diet either. My family and I are eating healthy now. There is a HUGE difference! As far as your co-workers, you are right on in my opinion. Like you said you are not on a diet, you…
  • I made a post like this a bit ago. It is not a small thing, it's big!! I finally had to break down and get my wedding set sized down because I was getting nervous they were going to fall off. I went from 8.5 to 7. It is a great feeling. Congratulations!!!
  • The change is so drastic! Awesome job!
  • I am 30 with 2 sons, 3 and 8 months. I am active duty military in Japan. I am here(on MFP) to get healthy to be a good healthy example for my children. In other words, I am finally doing this for me, using my kids as my motivation. Good luck to you!
  • I didn't notice till about 15lbs.
  • I LOVE workout related soreness. Could mean you are out of shape (currently), could mean you pushed yourself really hard. Either way, keep going! soon enough, it will be a lot harder to get yourself sore from working out.
  • Your Heart rate Monitor says you burned 300 something? If you have a decent heart rate monitor, they are usually farely acurate. I have that game too and it certainly feels like I would burn more than that if I did it for more than an hour. Maybe because your heart slows down a lot in the break between songs you burn less.
  • I cannot wait to post my before and after pics. I am so excited about it. However, I am forcing my self to hold out for 25 more pounds. I see many post before and during posts and I am soooo tempted, but as of yet I am waiting. I have periodic pictures though.
  • I am not trying to be mean. I really want to be as helpful as I can. As the title of your post is "to heavy to exercise" I am going to make the assumption that you are morbidly obese. What I can suggest as a beginning is very strictly monitor what you eat. In the beginning you could do exercises such as arm circles or leg…
  • I grew up in Mt. Juliet and Lebanon. I graduated from MTSU in Murfreesboro. Currently though, I live in Zushi City, Japan.
  • YES!!! (I still haven't actually gone shopping for the purpose of buying yet. But, after seeing those things fit, I was looking around at things that I would like and not have been able to consider before and it was cool.)
  • Not dumb, pretty cool actually! Little things like that keep me motivated. Good job!
  • I gues you have a good point here too. My excuse was I had just had a baby. That is why I weighed 251lbs. Completely pushing aside sthe fact that many, many women give birth and do not get near as fat as I was. But, it was my excuse until I acknowledged I it was my fault.
  • You certainly don't have to run for an hour straight. I can't do that either. I started with 4.0mph walking for .25 of a mile, then 6.0mph running for .25 of a mile and alternating for an hour. Now I can 4.0mph walking for.25 of a mile and 6.0 running for 2 miles, then alternate walk/run every .25 of a mile, but I had to…
