I am a runner, I just run a bit slow, averaging 5.2 mph on a 5k distance. Today I challenged myself to run 6mph for 5 minutes, in the middle of my run. I kept that pace for 6 minutes instead!

You can add me. I'm 35, and currently getting myself in shape to do my first triathlon this year. I workout a lot, run, bike, swim, lift, etc. I log daily too.

IMO you are definitely not eating enough. You ate 900 calories one day. If that is normal for you, I can definitely see where your doctor would be concerned.

Shoe fittings are not hocus pocus and are free at running stores. They check for how you pronate when you walk. It is important to wear the correct shoe. If you overpronate, but wear shoes the wrong shoes, you can cause injury. Get fitted. Your feet, legs, back, etc will all thank you!!

Having spent many years working in a nursing home, this happens a lot. Some people may not have the strength or stability to walk. But it doesn't mean their legs don't work. Wheelchairs aren't just for paralized people. Nice empathy tho.

I am proud of myself for competing in the Cupid Chase 5k, in the snow, and I didn't finish last. This is only my second 5k, and I beat my first 5k time. And I ran my fastest mile ever. That little storm they called memo can bite me!!
