I make an all veggie (use fresh, raw veggies) saute: 1 T. olive oil fresh minced garlic onions carrots zuchinni mushrooms green cabbage Saute till tender......YUM! sometimes I put this over brown rice or use no yolk noodles. Makes a great meal :happy:

Doesn't sound like good menu planning to me. You need to add in some protein...what about making a protein shake now and then? Or some veggie burgers, or turkey burgers or chicken? Fruits and Veggies are great but you really need something substantial otherwise hunger will be your best friend for life, jus sayin.... :smile:

Pull out a "fat sized" pair of jeans or one of your XXXL shirts, stand in front of a full length mirror holding your old clothes beside you and say outloud "Hey look at that! Go shopping to find out your "now size." I did & seems I'm inbetween sizes...I'll be wearing a few of my "too big" jeans with a belt till I can easily fit in the smaller size. The rest of the "too big" clothes I'm donating :happy:

@da_sammit....Pure Protein Plus blend with Whey (French Vanilla) is Totally Awesome! I scoop mixes well with water (tastes great) or my fav is lite orig. soymilk, add in flax seed & PB2! :happy:

Cut back to 1 scoop of the powder. I used to have Total Lean, but switched over to Pure Protein Plus French Vanilla stats are very low with high Protein, add in 1/2 frozen banana, flax seed, PB2 and it's delish!

Veggie Lasagna, Homemade Veggie Soup is Awesome! Experiment in the kitchen, that's what I do! :happy: Of course I live alone now so if something turns out....yuk, I don't have to feed anyone my failed experiment! :laugh: :explode:

My Advice to faithwithrose: I'd say if you want to add it in, do it. Who are you hurting? The one that told you can't add that as exercise? Forget them! This is your Plan, Your Lifestyle Change...do what keeps you reaching for your Goal. :smile:

I like poultry but I'm not much of a red meat eater, I feel better and I don't get sick after I eat and simply because it's my choice. Saute them with raw garlic and a little Olive Oil......YUM! If you're not up for garlic, Mrs. Dash has so many different flavors you won't miss the salt.....high sodium is bad. I've also heard roasting them is delicious! But I'm on a Garlic kick right now, what can I say?! :laugh:
