Have to admit I loved the supportive and sensible post from the male poster. In the end I think you need to find a different way of comforting yourself during this time. What works for me is a piece of dark chomp late and a cup of hot tea or glass of wine.

I just start Sunday and I've been doing the cardio with workouts 1 and 2. Yesterday I also went bike riding with the kids and felt nauseous in the afternoon - thought I might be getting the flu but now I think I just over-exercised. I'm going to do only one cardio today.

I started this today! Hurrah! It was very doable and a good workout. I also hiked my dogs today for an hour - I'm planning on doing the cardio 1 tonight. I'm excited for you all to get started too.:smile:

I used to live in Chicago and totally get that about the winter motivation slump...maybe try some DVD's - 30 day shred, P90, or Physique 57 are really popular. I think you just have to force yourself to do it and after a few weeks you will be in a habit and miss it when you don't. Good luck!
