  • Only you will be able to determine what a good time to shoot for should be, based upon your workouts in preparation of the run. You don't want to go out at a world-record pace if you will be unable to walk for the next two months.
  • You're going to be fine. It's a lifestyle change not a quick fix. I started Thanksgiving day; my wife started about a week of so later. I'm down 26 pounds; she's down 20+ as well; and looking hot. She's looking hot; I still look like an unmade waterbed.

  • Every day is a chance to start anew. I seriously recommend getting a partner in your journey. My wife and I are having great success at this weight-loss effort; pushing each other to do better. She's getting hotter each day and I'm getting friskier and burning calories chasing her around. It's ALL good.
  • You took more than a week to get to just over 200 pounds; it may take a couple more weeks to loss it all. It's the marathon for your life; don't let the "wall" stop you. You have to view managing your food intake as how you need to proceed for the rest of your life; you deserve to live a long and loving life.
