This! And thanks OP for such an uplifting post. =)

Wow!! And I agree - slow and steady wins the race. =)

Pretty much ALL of this. :P I really crave fast food at first, esp Long John Silver's for some reason. Good, fresh bread (with real butter), pasta, pizza, and breakfast is another big one for me - either McD's or going somewhere and getting pancakes, hash browns, bacon, etc.

I ought to make a list and stop quoting individual threads. I enjoy Jodi Picoult's books. Ive read most of hers, save for a few of the earlier ones, and am a few books behind on the new ones. I saw her out at a q&a thing last year and she told us how she went and met with a guy who lived with wolves, for Lone Wolf, and…

I don't read Dean Koontz' stuff, but someone bought me the memoir he wrote for his dog, The Big Little Life (maybe it's the other way around), and it was really really good. I definitely recommend it if you're a dog lover.

I just finished Catching Fire, and can't wait for MockingJay. This time I watched the HG movie first, and wasn't sure if Id like it, but I really did, and read the book soon after. And yeah, I'm a Twilight girl too. I also really love biographies/autobiographies, and can read cook books like a novel. Otherwise I read…

Haha! ;) The holiday season is definitely a hard time to stick with it, but I just remind myself that every bit helps, and try not to beat myself up too much if I go over some days. It used to be that I'd just say, wait til January, but not this year. =)

Way to go - you look great!

Thank you for clarifying. =) My instinct is to call it 'English', and I know that's not quite right either, heh.

This! Haha. Always a sucker for a guy with an accent - particularly Brit/Scot/Irish :P

I had some like these, they were brown with starts and polka dots - got them at somewhere like Target or WM. Maybe Payless. If I wear shoes I tend to wear the same ones most of the time, until they wear out. Whoops - this was supposed to be in reply to the slip on tennis shoes with the skullies on them. =)

I prefer barefoot or socks as well. I never wear anything with very much of a heel, mostly because Im clumsy, and they make my feet hurt.

I love this! =)

Welcome Andy and Tara!

Goodnight everyone, unless I catch a few of you late night or outside the US folks. I hope everyone who has been struggling is having at least a somewhat better day today.

Hi all - Im about halfway through reading through this thread and thought I'd jump in too. It's so nice to see so many supportive people here. I've been overweight most of my life, and am queen of, Ill start tomorrow, next week, next month, after the holidays, etc. Or Ill have a cheat day that extends to a week and I just…

The radio at work, I think it's that Locked Out of Heaven song by Bruno Mars. If you're looking for some cool, mellow music, check out Tyrone Wells - his new album, This Love, came out yesterday. =)

Way to go all! Mine would be that I limited my snacking today. I am a grazer, esp at work.
-
What an amazing story - thanks for sharing. =)
-
Whoops sorry all - was replying real quick before I left work and didn't take time to read the whole thread. And Ill say dark chocolate, avocado and more recently, hummus. =)

I just heard of DreamFields but havent tried it yet. Where do you find the WF alfredo?

Hi ladies - Ive also just started, at 235 (was 261 at my heaviest), with a goal weight of around 130, although Id take 150 at this point. Im one of those, I'll do it tomorrow, next week/month/after the holidays, but had a recent health scare and really need to get on the ball. Ive sent a request to some of you, but feel…
