Hey OP, are you still here? How are you feeling? Did you get things moving again? BTW I hear if you take a tablespoon of ACV every morning, not only will it rev up your metabolism but it will also kill that pesky intestinal parasite. sarcasm

10) why are you being so mean?

 As much as I agree with the above, I'd be surprised if this thread makes it to page 2 before it just shut down and your profile pic is behind bars

I also have SVT and attempted ablation. Unfortunately once they got in, the abnormality was too close to the AV Node and they did not complete the ablation. Following that, I lost a bunch of weight and my SVT rarely bothers me anymore. In fact, I was able to cease taking Atenolol altogether. When my SVT acts up now, I do a…

Excellent, thanks for this. I do have an Epi pen and hope I never have to use it. I will look into the oral food challenge.

This makes a lot of sense. Thank you.

Depression is a medical issue, not situational. This type of stigma is exactly why people are losing their lives to depression when it could be treated the same way other medicals conditions are treated - medical intervention. Perhaps Robin Williams should have just "been happy" and he would have been okay. While I agree…

TL:DR the rest of the responses but OMG this sounds like a bad idea. For me, anyways. The only workout I would get after consuming a spoon of coconut oil is running to the toilet. Not good.

Serious question, for once. It doesn't happen often.

I was leery to go to the naturopath because of the lack of qualifications but I was desperate. Her results actually made a lot of sense in correlation to the issues I was experiencing so I sort of bought into it. And I keep in mind that Dr. Oz is also a doctor ;) I'm trying to remain objective, sort through the woo, and…

Depression manifests itself in many different ways so although it's helpful to talk about it, the way my depression makes me feel may not be the same for you. That being said, if you think you have depression, you're probably right. Seeing a doctor about it is a wise decision. Please be patient as this will take some time…

I understand. But she took blood tests which were sent to a lab for analysis. I sort of assumed that a blood test would be more accurate than a skin-prick test.

My mom keeps telling me that eating fat makes you fat. I've given up arguing with her about it.

Me too. Physio and 3 months off. Not good. OP I suggest getting in a pool of you feel the need to run. Deep water running is hard! Just don't forget to wear your pink flowered swim cap ;)

I applaud your ability to respond so diplomatically.

If only someone could figure out the answer to that question and come up with a solution. It's very complicated IMO. Combination of eating too much, not moving enough, sedentary lifestyles due to advances in technology (thereby making our jobs easier), video games and TV, lack of education about CICO, diet industry praying…

I think a lot of people equate it with a personal failure. Some people are just much harder on themselves than others.

+1 9 pages of talking about puss and poop in my food and I'm beginning to wonder if Freelee is really onto something. The MFP derp today is making me delusional.

I'm not sure this is the right category. I didn't get the impression you were looking to debate, merely sharing information. That being said, I have no idea how you would move your discussion to the correct spot.

+1. There are a number of groups on MFP that you might find helpful and supportive as you deal with your eating disorder. Hopefully you are also under the care of a professional to help you recover.

Thanks for sharing. It's interesting to see it from the perspective of one of the BB coaches.

Travis Fimmell from Vikings and Gabriel Macht from Suits. Droooooooll

It's very high on my list because it helps immensely with my anxiety and depression. If I go too long without exercise, my mood suffers and my husband will tell me to go for a run  I am also setting a good example for my young son, in the hopes that he won't struggle with his weight like I have.

As mentioned above, an HRM is only useful during steady-state cardio such as running, cycling, etc. You could also use it during swimming if you wanted to spend the extra money for a waterproof one. In that case, both the HRM chest strap AND the watch would need to be waterproof. I'm a fan of Garmin personally but I…

It took me until my son was 4 to get the motivation to lose the weight.
