School-provided lunches are an unfamiliar concept to me. Do students have the choice to bring their own lunch, or is it mandatory to partake in the school lunch program? What is the purpose of the school providing lunch? Sorry if these are stupid questions, I'm genuinely curious.

Surely there's something that makes you happy, at least for a moment?

You missed the "breaded" part

+1 The cinnamon Chex....OMG

Agreed, Udi's is generally pretty good. Their GF muffins are really delish. I'm not sure if you have Boston Pizza (I think it may be called BP Lounge in the US) - their Gluten Free pizza is amazing.

+1 Anything with wheat contains gluten. If you were okay with white bread, gluten is not your issue

Where are you located? That will make a difference in the responses, since availability varies greatly. If you're in Canada, I can tell you about my finds.

It's not April 1st yet. Could you please repost this on Friday?

Welcome back! It sometimes takes a few tries, so hopefully this is the charm!

+1 on the bolded. Why not just buy the same pair if they're working for you? I'd be wary to mess around with your shoes at this point.

I just can't imagine a family of four eating only meat. I mean....the bathroom stench alone isn't worth it. And the meat sweats? Not fun.

I don't understand the hype personally. I suppose if you're not very active in other ways, it's helpful to have the motivation to get in your 10,000 steps for the day.

Thanks for sharing the link. I had no idea that was even a thing.

I don't even know what to say to this. I'm stunned

The comments stop when you punch someone in the throat for touching you without invitation. Not cool. Kidding. Don't do that (think it, but don't do it). Do people really touch you? I'm flabbergasted.

I'm not sure I understand your question but here goes....are you weighing all of your solids on a kitchen scale and measuring all of your liquids in a measuring cup? The frequency of your meals does not matter; eating at a deficit is key

+1 packaged food is typically very high in sodium.

Oh that is so mean! And it's not even Friday!

I can't answer your specific question, but as a mom to a miracle boy via IVF with a donor egg....thank you. Your gift to that couple is the most amazing gift they will ever receive. I hope everything works out and the procedure is sucessful!

Just came back from the gym. Many pet peeves from one person: not reracking ANY of her weights, putting her gym bag in the handicap shower stall while she works out (it's not a locker, lady!), and not showering before she goes back to work. I can't say a darn thing because she's a coworker. Ugh.

39 year old Christian mama. I'm not terribly motivational in that I tend not to be a cheerleader, but my diary is open. My language is....usually positive, sometimes uplifting, and I think clean most of the time, although usually sarcastic ;)

It used to be a cheap place for us Westcoast Canadians to go. I remember when we went back in 2008 and with airfare and hotel, it cost us $300 for a couple. We took limos everywhere and went to all the best clubs and it was still an inexpensive vacation. This time around it was much more expensive. Combination of the…

Just got back from Vegas. Don't bother. It's not cheap anymore and it's gotten even weirder (if that's possible). S.O. went with me, and another couple. We have done separate vacations in the past. Duration a couple of days, budget hasn't really been discussed. Now that we have a small child, we haven't done any solo…
