  • Depends on which race you pick. I did a Sprint with my 17 yr old son 2 yrs ago (he left me in the dust). Trust me...if you walk between obstacles, you won't be the only one.   • Where did you move to/from? If you moved someplace with a higher elevation, 3 miles might be a lot harder until your body adjusts.

  • Your starting weight and body shape are very similar to mine. Your after pic gives me the motivation to get back at it! You look fantastic!
  • I call it sausage hands. Happens a lot when I hike. Especially when it's hotter and I'm going at a faster pace. Quickly resolves when I elevate my arms and rehydrate.
  • Mini omelettes - use mini muffin pans - variations are endless - I like a little onion, green pepper, turkey sausage. You can make a batch on Sunday and pop them in the microwave throughout the week for a super quick yummy breakfast.
