Sweet Potatoes, oh and uh... sweet potatoes. :) Low calories, high in vitamins/nutrients. Enough carbs to keep you full, and you can cook and ear a large one. (skin and all for all the good stuff) and still be under 200 calories!

I never worry about overeating. I am full every day and barely creap over 1500 calories of my alotted 2500. I just knew what would be available, and didn't want to go much higher than my usual 1500. *Didn't have luck, i'm up around 1850 for the day* It was terrible! you miss out on some of the best parts of the potato by peeling them. have you tried just eating the skin too?

One thing I do to help with veggies in my smoothies is use V8 Fusion juice. Its more veggie than fruit. Don't know the exact ratio, but its 100% juice and gives 2 servings of fruits and veggies per serving of juice.

Your body works 2x as hard while your sick as it makes you better. While you may have been laying down and resting, it was working overtime. Definitely expect to gain some of that weight back (which is good) just as your body's way of finishing repairing itself after its internal battle.
