Hi all Well I have been slacking a bit lately but the numbers I saw on this challenge spreadsheet yesterday (390 lb lost!!) made me jump to the sky!!! I feel so motivated this morning and my plan is to hit my 10K walk today (if not more)!!! Respect my planned calories and just believe in my goal every minute! Congrats to…

Hello Checking in from Canada. I did log it everything even though it wasn't a perfect day to start but tomorrow will be a better day! Great challenge all,we can do this!

Hi balancedwalker Thanks for inviting me...I am a little struggling at this point of the journey as I am feeling more comfortable in my new body so I tend to eat more...I want to go back on track and make people like me work together to get re-motivated to do this... Where do we start? Maybe talk about our issues and…

Some support, at least occasionally, I do the same. We are here for support so it is just fair :)

I agree with people who said that the transformation has to first happen inside of you, learn to enjoy each day in moderation, not fall into emotional eating, learn to eat better for the long term not as a quick fix, really be self-motivated every day to eat better regardless of life issues, vacation, etc. because even…

I am not expert, since I bought only one brand so far. It has 135 cal, 30g protein and 1g sugar, no trans Fat, 1g carbs & I like the taste too :) http://www.costco.ca/DynaWhey-2-pack-Protein-Beverage-Mix.product.100071546.html This is from COSTCO (Canada) though, I am not sure about US. Good luck.

I had knee issues when I started too but the weight loss improved my knee condition before my knee surgery...Much of the pain at the knee is caused by the extra weight pressure on the knee...Get your metabolism up by walking 5 to 10K steps a day, just that will take you a long way, that's what I did, no gym, no running and…

I love cheese and eggs, I do easily me fat objective, I though exceed lightly my sugar and protein but I think it is fine to exceed the protein, not sure sugar is good though but yes it is a challenge to satisfy all macros, it is possible though, I had weeks where I hit all my objectives! You could go more wild by eating…

Human beings provide feedbacks based on their own values and beliefs so don't take it any of it personal, sometimes it could feel hurtful or de-motivating but it is just who they are, it does not define you. In short, don't mind others and focus on what you want and need!

I have bread, cheese and pasta everyday but mixed up with fruit, veggies, meat. Try to learn to balance your meals a bit more without depriving yourself from what you love eating.

I started with the highest healthy weight - BMI (24.9), when I get there I will reevaluate... Be careful, some people look tinier than others even though they have the same BMI, also some people lose muscle while dieting, so for the same BMI 2 people with same weight and height do not have the same body fat in their body…

Nutrition Science says the source or the timing of the food consumed do not matter when it comes to weight loss...You could eat right before sleeping, if your calories fit in your allowance then you should be fine. Now, for convenience, it is definitely better to eat earlier to give your body time to digest and feel…

If I had to chose... 12 to 15% in men but really who cares? First, he needs to be mentally balanced, the body shape is details lol

Well the difference between the 260 lb you and the new you is that you have MFP, friends and more control over what you are eating. Play with the amount of exercise and food to what suits your needs best, it will take a few weeks but no worries you will adjust nicely and like someone said, keep a 5lb room as safety :)

Impressive, who said it was difficult to lose weight! great inspiration!!!

Greek yogurt has more protein, is more filling and tastier. I stopped eating cottage since I tried Greek,,,

Enjoy it! Just go with the flow, resisting is not good...Start over again, next day. Plan cheating every week (with moderation) and you will be fine...Sometimes, lack of sleep or stress causes cravings but some other time, it just happens, take it in and get over it next day but don't give up.

For me, it would be a KFC big crunch sandwich with a poutine (fries with cheese and brown sauce), only in CANADA. OMG......... I might plan one of these when I achieve an important milestone...:)

You look amazing! Can you share how you kept your motivation and determination up throughout the year? I just started my journey and ended up here because to me, MFP seems to be the most logical lifestyle: control your eating without having to be on a restrictive DIET! So far I lost 1kg and feel motivated, I hope I will…
