  • I guess they would not want us 'fatties' resurrected either, since they were mostly in the 'beautiful people' category except for my choice CHRIS FARLEY. Is this supposed to be a moral story, or just a who do we want to see again story....most of us have relatives we have mourned that maybe the rest of the world would not…
  • Chris Farley! I just watched Tommy Boy and Black Sheep back to back again this weekend.
  • Hello, I would like to join your group. I am an on again off again dieter but need to hit onederland in 2016. Please invite me, I need the support.
  • If you really think you may put weight on, just do a couple days of lean meat and veg while maintaining the slight calorie deficit..that will get you back on track, drink more water as well - but I honestly think you are being, as you said....paranoid. You look great by the way!
  • Actually, I only use this site to log my calories and exercise. I have only one friend and we are quite happy together..we barely speak, but I am still glad to see his weight loss successes. So don't be afraid to be lonely...less is more sometimes.
  • Great work giving us this additional tool. Thanks very much! Now I can use my Gazelle without feeling I am wasting my time. Frankly though, I have started using it again these last few days, and I am FEELING the burn in my thighs, butt and waist. So even if no calories are burned to speak of, I know my body is getting toned
  • On the "official Gazelle: site http://www.gazelleglider.com. it says that the calorie burn was equivalent to an elliptical, based on tests done . "This lack of resistance is one of the major criticisms of the Gazelle. According to a calories-burned-by-activity calculator at FatBurn, however, the Gazelle burns a similar…
  • OK< thanks for the information. We all have to die. Fit, fat or otherwise, nothing we do can keep us alive. I will happily die drinking coffee. There are those who will want to STOP drinking coffee, in a vain attempt to turn back the clock for a few minutes of extra time. I say, lose weight to look pretty, because the Grim…
  • I think I know how you feel, a bit...sometimes I get scared too, scared that this fat will NEVER go away...I feel trapped in gobs of fat. I have a congenital heart problem, and that added to the panicky feeling. What if my heart gives out? Well, I pulled my thoughts together, and went to see the doctor...turns out, I was…
  • Great job! Great body! Since I am your age, I think, judging by the neck in Picture 1, I only hope I will be as successful as you have been. Keep going!
  • All things are possible...only believe..
  • Hey the old sock in the bra trick works as well as any other!
  • OK, I have read all the messages on this thread and as a lover of NOKIA phones, I must ask" Has no one considered the NOKIA LUMINA 920? I would really really like to hear from a Nokia user as I am contemplating buying a smart phone, but everyone seems to like iPhone or Samsung Any information from anyone?
  • Good old blue bar soap. Put them to soak in cold water overnight, and use old fashioned bar washing soap. I live in Jamaica so it is easy to find. Don't know if they have it in USA or UK. Magic soap (which is the Brand name as well)
  • I will encourage you because I have been JUST LIKE YOU! Started at the gym on Feb 28th 2012 at 266 lbs. Faithfully went 5 days a week - 30 min cardio, 30 light weights. DID NOT BUDGE an ounce! Gave up ( in my head) about 6 months later, while watching the scale climb to 269. People tried to console me: Dont worry, you are…
  • I would ditch the cereal ( which can cause you to bloat) and replace with hardboiled egg or some other low calorie protein. Ditto for the wheat thins....this is the time to try sticking to low carb and protein. From experience, just cutting calories works in the LONG run - in fact I put on weight cutting calories because…
  • Thanks a heap Mr.Goody Two Shoes. How about answering the question without throwing in your world viewpoint?
  • Hey, I gained 4 lbs in one week keeping calories at the MFP recommended 1270 per day. Was completely fed up and discouraged. Took a look at the Nutritional COMPOSITION of the low cal foods I was eating. Found to my surprise that I was eating WAAAYYYY too many carbs. I cut my Carb intake in half and am now, a week later…
