I listen to music through headphones. Then, even if I hate the exercise, I can still enjoy the music.

I've been eating lots of oatmeal. I put some frozen fruit into it before nuking it in the microwave, then I sweeten it with stevia and mix in some ground flax seed or wheat bran. A side of turkey sausage adds protein. Pancakes are not off the menu for me. I use whole grain pancake mix and egg beaters.

I find it impossible to keep a precise count. One reason is that the count has to include calories burned through exercise. I use a heart rate monitor/calorie counting device, but the accuracy of the device is highly suspect.

Thanks. Now, let's test it out. The only problem is that I'd been on a weight loss program for about a year before I found MFP, so my ticker won't show the total amount that I've lost.

Protein shake. I scoop of whey protein isolate can give you 30g of protein for about 120 calories.
