I'm back on MFP and paying attention now. I've been on the HMR program (with St. Joe's/Ann Arbor) since 12/18/2018. I'm down nearly 80#, and I've gotten off Victoza, Levemir (insulin), blood pressure med, and a statin. My energy is amazing. I'm in Phase 2 now, and many food things look interesting, in a way that they…

I'm about to start HMR. should I just not complete my days? I've heard something about the under calorie warning and the app not logging correctly. Does anytime know more?
-
I confess that I'm likely to cancel my gym membership for lack of use. We are planning a move and I'm just dropping money in a hole.
-
That is terrific and inspiring progress! You look amazing.

Live in Milford, work in A2.

Good luck, man! Don't do anything crazy (it may not stick, even if it works). I am hovering around 211, too. 211.4 today. I want to at least start hovering around 205 soon.
-
Thanks so much for sharing your story! I've plateaued at around 215 for 3 weeks (I know why, I think), and seeing your story is inspiring!
-
You look great! Thanks for the inspiration. As of today, I'm actually at 80 pounds from goal. You show me it can be done.
-
Thank you for this! Not quite up to doing anything but MFP's suggestions, but I know that will change. helenlucyburn: I think everyone's right on target. The weeks that I ate up to my calories are the weeks that I seem to lose weight. YMMV.

You are looking great! I should take a "before" now in leggings and a tank, since I am working on losing 85 more pounds. Thanks so much for the terrific inspiration!

Yup. This . Oh, at home I often wear my glasses, too. My shoes weigh at least a pound if I'm wearing comfortable ones...

I love water, but sometimes I get bored. Seriously, cold water with a couple of ice cubes is my favorite. The bad water thing is icky! So sorry! We had icky water at one place I worked, and we all chipped in $3/month (like, 5 of us) for a water cooler (free from vendor) and refills. Shop around -- the water vendors will…

Thanks! That helps a lot. I completely had my doubts about the Cool Whip frosting -- I will now try it! I think the colas might be good in a chocolate cake, so I will try that, too. I wonder if pumpkin will work in a packaged brownie mix? Thoughts?

Chipping away. I am also having problems to get motivated to hit the gym! Managing to stay close to my calorie budget. Most weeks average out, though. Bit by bit, and I am still losing. I started at just over 240, and I want to get down to the neighborhood of 135. I still have a fierce sweet tooth, but I am coming up with…

I love these ideas! I have the sugar-free Jello snacks -- my favorites are creme brulee rice pudding and dulce de leche pudding. Yogurt, baby carrots, and Special K crisps are on my hit list, too. I like the snack bags of Triscuits -- I count out Triscuits at my desk, but I don't need to be mobile. oh, and let me second…

This was my first thought on juice, too. It's just too much sugar for me to consider as a beverage. I drink tea, water, and Diet Mountain Dew. I may stop drinking soda at some point, but it fills a niche in my intake (for me). I drink coffee, but that's not a beverage -- that's an indulgence that I'm not giving up. I drink…

In the past,I have gotten an exercise high, so I know I can. I found that I needed to work out for at least 25" and break a sweat by 12" in or so to get the glow thing. Id *does* feel awesome, so I'm working back up to that again. I found treadmill + MP3 player worked for a long time. I actually can watch TV at my gym and…

See, I'm an equal-opportunity PB girl. Crunchy for eating as it, and cream to add to recipes. Someone mentioned soba above... nom nom nom.

I haven't had frozen yogurt in a while -- I may try, in light of the possible clearer flavor profile. I used to eat Haagen Dazs' coffee flavor -- I wonder if it still exists, and would fit into my eating plans? Must check. My favorite frozen treat is Blue Bunny's Sweet Freedom Black Raspberry Bar. I like portions. I can't…

I think that this comment is on-target! 20# is a LOT. No, really. That is a lot to lose in a short time. Please don't give up. The hardest thing for *me* is to keep going, so I know what I'm asking. I want to bail on myself. I need to love myself enough to keep taking care of myself, even when it's frustrating. I have had…

My sweetie is around 185 and 5'8", so all good. I do wish he's work out and conquer his beer belly -- he hasn't had a drink in 26+ years, so I'd love the evidence to leave. I'm thinking as he sees me go to the gym more, he will too. All in all, not a big deal. He's absurdly healthy, from sugar to blood pressure. He gave…

I also love before/after pics. I'm planning on posting when I get down to 180 (a bit over 1/2 of my goal loss). THANK YOU for the inspiration to keep doing what I'm doing.

My turn for a question: what is polar HRM? It's so important to eat enough! It's challenging to do for me because I feel/hear the messages in the world urging me to starve myself to lose weight... only that doesn't actually work long-term.
-
I think I love you.
-
Am I in your head? Sounds like a good snack to me!
-
Yes, backhanded compliment, but YAY on the progress!
-
That's a huge loss fast! MFP makes me conscious of what I'm doing, too. I love the fact that the system automatically warns me if I'm starving myself -- I know I have the possibility of being an all-or-nothing girl, and MFP is helping me with the slow and steady, and that fluctuations during the month are normal, and…

Looking good!

46 here, and finally ready to change my lifestyle. Feel free to add me -- I love to do mutual support! I need to lose about 100 pounds overall, but I'm trying to stay in the moment with the assistance oy MFP's tracking and all of you!

^this! Congrats!
