I just started today as well! I have a lot of food issues too so I am loosely following the plan. If it suggests cottage cheese I can have a glass of coconut milk or something in the same food type and calorie range. BTW fit test kicked my butt so I am a little scared for whats to come.

I get very red faced when I run. I think it has more to do with how fair skinned a person is and how close to the surface the blood vessels are than weight. I have always blushed really easily too so its probably related. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I weighed about 220 when I started c25k originally. It kicked my butt, but since you are doing moderately high impact cardio like zumba already, your joints can probably take it.

I won't be weighing in this week. I have had strep throat for the past 4 days before finally going in to diagnose and treat it today. I haven't been eating anything besides popsicles and tea. I am sure that whatever I lost will be gained back next week once I start eating normally again.

I love this challenge. I am in! :)

No, you are free to add yourself back on. We simply purged anyone who had not yet weighed in. There where about 200-250 participants that either changed their minds about the challenge or did not want to use the spreadsheet to keep track of their weight. It was purely to clear up a lot of blank space and make the…

I am considering going in after the weigh-in's close this week (so 3 weeks into this) and deleting any names for the spreadsheet that haven't even logged their starting weight. Not everyone on here even wants to use a spreadsheet to log the progress each week. Any thoughts?

Down 1.5 lbs. Not terrible considering I was visiting family for my sister's wedding all week.

Sorry about that. I copy and pasted all of the usernames to alphabetize them and for some reason a few people's names got all smushed together.
-
It isn't difficult so much as time consuming. I had to copy the names over and since there are over 400 members for the challenge it took a while. Not everyone is able to use spreadsheets well enough to add themselves so I started it off. They just have to add their weigh-ins.

I will be happy to make one. I will start on it when I get home tonight.

I am a vegetarian who has struggled with losing weight. I too ate a lot of highly processed junk just because it was vegetarian. I have been having a lot of success since cutting out most junk. I still have a long way to go but taking it slowly and making changes you can live with will be more sustainable than restrictive…

Hi, My name is Tak. I am 22 and have 75 -90 lbs to go before my goal. I think that 52 lbs in a year will be a good goal. It is attainable but will require me to keep focused.

@Melisa- I have tried PB2, but it isn't for me. I find the texture odd at best and the health benefits are minimized by the oil removal. Peanut butter is calorie dense but it has important nutrients that PB2 does not, especially for a vegetarian. Also, PB2 has added sugar which I try to avoid. As long as I stick to the…

I meant the kind that is just peanuts and salt. Most brands have sugar, milk, oil, flour and more added to them. They don't taste nearly as good as the kind that you have to stir.

Hi everyone! My name is Tak, and I would like to lose 15 lbs by the end of the challenge. I still have a few weeks so I will wait to post my starting weight until January 1st. I am 22, married and live in lovely Colorado. I work full time at Wal-Mart while I am going to college for a degree in history education. I don’t…
