My diary is open and I need more friends for support as I am getting back into the swing of things and would love to encourage and support others.

I found that if I go early on Sundays there are like 4 people in my gym, all of which are so dedicated they are focused only on themselves and their workout, so that gives me the courage to hop around and try different stuff because no one is paying attention. Once a trainer actually came up and gave me a few pointers,…

Height: between 5'8 and 5'9 Age: 25 SW: 224 CW: 206 GW 1: 195 GW 2: 185 Not sure what my final goal weight will be yet. MFP calories are set at 1660 (for 1lb loss a week) [planning to start staying around 1400 calories the days I don't exercise, unless I'm hungry] Aim for 300-500 calories burned 4x a week via exercise…

Yup- and the database on here is much larger. WW will help teach you fundamentals of living a healthy lifestyle if you don't have a clue- besides that its the same as MFP (except with option of in person support).

It has the same foundation as MFP, calories in, calories out, but in points form. It can be educational for those that don't know about living a healthy lifestyle (good nutrition, how to cook healthy, how to eat out healthy, how to begin exercise). I am still a member and on here becuase I use the weekly weigh in as a way…

As an American I am for assistance programs for the needy, do they need a serious overall to improve effectiveness and reduce waste? Yes. Do people abuse the system? Yes, but there will always be abusers, and (maybe naively) like to think that those who really need the assistance outweigh those abusing it....

I'm not sure about all food stamp programs in the U.S. but in Washington DC with SNAP there is already regulation in place to encourage families to buy healthy: What do you get with Food Stamps December 12, 2012 In the United States, US citizens and legal non-citizens have the option of applying for food stamps. Food…

You look great! I'm in the same boat with height and my goal weight. I started at 224, am now down to 202.6 (and just under 5'9"). When I talked to my doctor about my expecations, she said she wouldn't be surprised to see me healthy and fit at 175-185 (I had told her my goal was 150-165). Running has really changed the…

First off my mother also lost her breasts to cancer 6 years ago, so I do understand having a family member go through that . Second, I am more sensitive about talking/complaining about my breasts AROUND her, but no way did this OP offend me or my mom because it doesn't involve her. But just because it didn't offend me or…

Wow, you look great! I would have never guessed 43, more like late 20's early 30's, but if I looked like you I wouldn't hide it either!!!

I'm between 5'8" and 5'9" and currently weigh 203, heaviest was 224 (lost 20ish with Weight Watchers), looking to first get back under 200, then to 182 and go from there. I have no idea what my goal weight will be because I've never really been under 200 as an adult (well 198 briefly 2 months agao) and as you can see on…
