Agreed. To OP, take your time right now, eat a little more, and allow your metabolism to recover a bit. You'll start losing again, but you may have to be patient. The last time I went on an extreme "cleansing" diet, I gained 10 lbs after I stopped. I will never do that again.

I think getting someone to go with you at first might help with the anxiety. I understand how you feel. It's what I deal with when I go to the gym, and the weight section is in use. Or buying a set of weights may also be an alternative.

My best advice is to avoid high sodium foods, but don't drowned yourself by drinking a ton of water, either. Eat light today but healthy. Try to avoid high sugar foods as well.
