I'm very close to 5'4" and I've been at this for 5 years, am down 53 lbs! I lose slowly with lost of maintenance breaks and the occasional period of weight gain. We're all different and will achieve (or not achieve) or goals differently with vastly different methods. Good luck finding yours!!!

Noob gains can come your way with the right lifting and eating programs but we're all differ. While it may be highly unlikely, I'm not going to be so arrogant as to say it's completely impossible. (Not that other people that say it is are arrogant, just I would be if I professed it .)

I was almost 200 lbs, obese and didn't look great but in the overweight 160s people told me I looked great. It's not easy to lose weight but luckily there are a plethora of weight loss strategies out there and if you try 10 methods that don't work, there will be hundreds more for you to cycle through until you find the one…

Good for you! I'd love to hear more about your progress as it comes!

Science or woo? That's a potentially condescending question. It's only woo if it never works for anyone. We're all different and what doesn't work for one person might work for the next. Unless it's dangerous (also a bit subjective), then people will just have to try it to find out.

I'm hypothyroid too due to requiring the removal of my cancer infested thyroid! Now I get to take meds for the rest of my life and my oncologist wants me forever hypothyroid in order to keep the chances of a cancer reoccurrence at its lowest percentage. One risk factor he told me about was possible weight gain due to my…

Hey, OP. Everyone loses weight differently. No one can tell you exactly what will work for each person because we're all very different. Don't let the opinions of others get you down! Good luck finding what will work for you!

It Works! At taking money out of you bank account.

Just asking questions. Motivation, intent and how worthwhile something is seems important. Should people not ask questions?

You can't expect to have an effective awareness campaign if you can even begin to guess as to how many people you're going to reach. Might as well just say, I wish people were more educated about supplements because that's all you're doing. Unless you plan to petition this site and many of the other fitness sites into…
-
So you're talking about a grass roots awareness campaign? How many of the 2.5 million users do you think this will reach?
-
How do you propose to go about educating people? BTW, I'm all for the FDA being involved in supplements and ensuring that they are what is claimed to be within them.
-
So you only want people to be able to take Vit C ( and others) with a prescription?
-
Okay, what's your proposed solution?
-
Considering how many people take supplements, that's a relatively low number. Half the U.S. population takes supplements, so 23,000 out of 250,000,000 isn't all that much.

So weigh out half the liquid and half the beets then pour off the liquid you don't want for a calorie estimate that's comperable to the label. The calories are in the beets, with negligible in the liquid. I personally would not get too consumed with 5-10 calories. They're statistically irrelevant. If you're having issues…

The number of calories in the removed beet liquid is negligible for an already low calorie food. Just go by the can info.

I just say no to drugs. I say yes to everything else. And if my mouth is full, I make mmmhmmm sounds.

Whatever I feel like eating that fits into my calorie goal and doesn't completely mess with my macros. This includes chocolate, cookies, cake, nuts, ice cream or any of my other favorites. Life's too short to cut out what makes you happy. I've learned to moderate my intakes and while it was a hard lesson, it was definitely…

I wouldn't cover any food with crap, brought or cooked; that's just not healthy. Fecal matter will make you sick.

My advice to you, stop giving unsolicited advice to women about their personal physique desires. But thanks for randomly telling the forums what your personal preference is for women's backsides.

That... was not support. It was more like an accessory to a crime.

Ummmmmm, I'm going to go with no. Envy? Sure. Wishing for something bad to happen to another person when they've not done anything wrong? Nope. I have never wished for anyone that's thinner than me to be fat. I have never wished anyone prettier than me to have acid poured on their face. I have never wished for anyone…

They've been working for thousands of years.

I count all mostly water beverages (minus alcohol) or at least I would if I tried to log my liquid intake. I count full caffeinated beverages too since the diuretic effect is far less than the hydrating effect. Example: 8 oz of full strength coffee wit it's diuretic effect will cause 2oz of water loss. You're still ahead…

It's different from some other yogurts, very rich, almost like a custard. I love it. On the other hand, I'm not a fan of most other yogurts like Yoplait, Activia and Dannon.

Noosa. Hands down the best.

I hope you're not going the breath holding route. That would not be a rational respiratory choice.

I'm concerned with the current state of rabbit farts. This year's numbers are woefully low.
