Take classes at the gym. I am currently 230 and I take every class they offer, and do very well in each of them. I can hang with the best of them. And even when you can't the instructors show you moderations. Classes give your body the shock it needs......to keep weight loss on-going.:flowerforyou:

Hello, I am 5'9 currently 230lbs, started 8/20/12 flucuating between 280-290lbs. You can see my pics on my profile. The one in the black dress is a terrible face shot. Anyway the taller we are the better we carry the weight, at 220 I will wear a size 12. I wear a 14 now.

Yes, I have pain in the soles of my feet as well and sometimes my ankles hurt. The whole knee hurts, both of them.

Thank you. I cannot believe how offended people are becoming. This is MY opinion of what I want and is working for Me. It really shows that although we're losing weight we haven't lost that poor self image yet.

How about decreasing your calories. Sometimes you have to find your own system that works for you. Trying cutting back on carbs. Do a two week South Beach or Atkins induction or stay between 50-100 grams carbs a day, under 20grams will get you ketosis and you can lose up 15lbs in 2 weeks, but u will have to watch your…

I am 5'9 my goal weight is 180. I do not want to ever be skinny. The chart says I should be 124-160, which is too small. Because I am tall I carry my weight well, plus i am not stomach heavy.. I love my curves. When I was 280 no one believed I weighed that much. Do what looks good to you and yours.

Size 12 is my goal. I am 5'9 curvy, no stomach and size 12 on me looks like a 10. I thinks it's a great size plus I love being a little thick. My husband has commanded me not go any smaller than that. I am 14 -16 now and look pretty good. Do what works for you, its your opinion of yourself that matters.
