i like ot do my mini goals 10lbs at a time. so instead of saying ugh i have 47 lbs more to go you just look at how many lbs you are till you reach your next 10 lbs.

my kids piano teacher know Mike Rowes (the host from Dirty Jobs) brother, he's a chef around here.

also my husbad came home and said that one of his soliders told him that if you take 4oz of hamburger and sticks it in a food processer with 2 cups of oatmeals and blends them together it will cut down on the fat of the hamburger but not the flavor, has anyone tried this?

started out in cocoa fl, then moved to fort leonard wood in st robert mo, then to fort belvoir in VA right near washington dc. now the hubby is stationed at fort bragg. who knows where we will go after this.. lol

awww love the jack off jill.... i listen mostly to toadies, the cruxshadows, depeche mode, vnv nation, velvet acid christ and assemblage 23. i would give song names but the play list is long so i dont get bored listening to the same things.

hey you don't have to give up the food you love! just eat less of it. i would die if i had to give up chocolate and coke. i just have a little bit when i exercise enough to allow it in my calorie count. this site is great at helping you stay on track, welcome! :bigsmile:

walking is very good, and beter on your joints than jogging. keep it up and you will be losing in no time!

thanks. i have four kids, and the youngest is 2.... so its taking me a while to start getting serious about losing weight. its good to know it wont be as bad as it is now. i dont want it gone just a smaller. i like my pooch i got it bringing hte 4 best things to ever happen to me into the world. =)

i love wine, and i wont even tell you how many calories are in a glass of that. but if you save it as a reward for when you reach a small goal it will be that much better. I'm saving my bottle of wine for my birthday next month. =) stay strong and you can do it. :wink:

i researched this not to long ago. Splenda is made from sugar, and stevia and truvia are made from the stevia plant. i personally like the taste of the truvia, it doesnt have as much of an after taste (this goes for the stevia as well).

could be new muscle, or water weight. dont sweat it. the body fluctuates about 3lbs daily. try measuring yourself for a little while instead of weighing yourself.

im also a mother, but i have 4, 2 at home 2 in school. you dont have to have a gym, i walk in place while i watch tv, or cook dinner, if you have stairs you can walk up and down them for a set amont of time. i have never ever had any kind of results from dieting, but on here i have already lost 10lbs and i have been here…

i have noticed that i feel a little deflated, lol. i have noticed but no one else has. but i have only lost 9 lbs so far. i am anxious to start to really thin out.

thanks, i have my tubes tied so no need to birth control, but its good advice, and i will have to try the jello, or pudding. maybe if they have a good chocolate one it will help. =)
