I did my best to lose it slowly so my son wouldn't be effected :) My goal was to be pre pregnancy by his first birthday (155lbs) and i hit that the week before he turned 1, so i lost 25lbs in about 3 months.. but the first month i lost a ton bc of water weight. Then i lost the other 30 over a good 6 months bc i had to find…

that happened to me this week! I haven't changed my diet or exercise, but i suddenly lost 4lbs in 6 days!

Weight goes to your enemies. For every pound you lose, some jerk you hate gains a pound. :P

I tried on a pair of pants that haven't fit me in 6yrs, and they fit! Also, i checked my bmi (still a nsv kind of?) And it has gone from 31.9 to 22.5!

My hair is super curly too. It's slightly straighter in the pics bc it was brushed out. I can't wait to see what it looks like straightened! I had it cut in a salon (I actually went to the beauty school so a student cut it and it was only $8!) and my sister dyed it for me! The underside is pink, and the front was SUPPOSED…

I tried on my 'goal' pants.. They were from when I was 15 and weighed 120. I tried them on, weighing 130, and omg they fit! I'm afraid they will be too BIG when i hit my goal!
-
Idk my measurements now, bc i haven't measured since i started, but when i weighed 180, i was 39,35,44. I'm 130 now, almost to my goal!

I can see a difference in you sis! Your face looks thinner, and (no offense) your *kitten* does too! I see you constantly, but I can see a big dif between last year and this year. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! <3

There's a whole pinned post explaining how to do the photos :)

Thank you everyone! Being 5'2, weighing 180 looked HORRIBLE on me. I was already 'heavy' before getting pregnant, but gaining 43lbs while pregnant didn't treat me so nicely. I feel great now though! I'm getting married in 6 days, and I feel amazing in my lovely dress, which i had to be taken in TWO sizes bc i bought it…

I make homemade pizza, which has less calories by far. Instead of like 200-300cals/slice eating out, i can make an entire pizza sized pizza (not a tiny one) for like 800 cals or less. homemade garlic dough, spinach, feta and mozarella. SO delicious, and low cal! and you can eat the entire thing and not feel guilty.

Oh, and I never did the extra breastfeeding cals. I started out at like 2100, and as he ate more solids, i took some away. Once I hit like 1600, i 'tested' 1400 to see how his weight tolerated it. He did fine, because he was eating enough solids then, so I dropped it down more. I am alloted like 1600 a day, but i tend to…

Eating 1200 cals is not enough for an EBF baby. I waited until my son started solids (9mo) and every time he started eating more solids, i'd take away a little cals. Little by little, i took away. Still breastfeeding (10ish times a day, 2-3 at night) at 13.5mo, but without effecting his health/weight.

I think it depends on your body and situation. I was a 36C before I had my son. I wore a 40D when I started on here. 36lbs later, I wear a 36D, so around I am back to before but my breasts are still larger. Could be the fact that I am breastfeeding though lol.

Congrats! I am more than halfway, and i rewarded myself for hitting halfway by buying myself a new pair of jeans (which, are too big now xD)
-
How is that 'too drastic'? I have lost 32lbs in 5 1/2 months, and the doc i saw recently said I was doing great!
-
Oh, and any drop in weight I log on mfp, because I love it telling me how much i've lost. If I gain any, i look at what I ate the day before and see if I didn't drink enough or had too much sodium etc, and keep track of what makes me fluctuate.

I keep my scale in the same spot, and I weigh myself every morning after I go to the bathroom, naked so I know my true weight, not the weight of whatever I am wearing at the time.

Not only did I do a wicked happy dance, i bought myself a present ^_^ I bought myself a mei tai baby carrier to use with my son bc he LOVES to be carried

I was 155 before I got pregnant, already 30lbs over my 'comfy' weight. I had my son at 34wks, and i was 198 the day he was born. When I started on MFP, i was 180. I waited until he was 9mo to start losing bc I breastfeed and wanted to make sure my little preemie prince got super caloric milk until he was on solids. So,…

I am proud of myself today because I am officially into the 140's today - i haven't seen 140 in 4 years! I was 180 when I started in dec (I waited until my son started solids at 9mo before trying to lose weight bc i am breastfeeding) and today i was 148.4!

9863 + 27 = 9890

I thought the same thing, that is why I wear the same clothes and stand in the same spot.
-
I still don't look down and see a difference, but i took a pic at my start weight, and 15lbs down and you can see it (look at prof pic).. 2lbs til i hit 25 and i am gonna take another one!
-
Way to go! It's always exciting to see those pant sizes drop! I don't know what size I got up to, bc i was lazy and wore pj pants forever after having my son, but I am a few lbs away from my pre-baby weight and my jeans were tight then, but they already fit and are slightly baggy!
-
I give myself goal dates :) Like, I am 3.4lbs away from my pre-baby weight, and my son will be 1 next month. My goal is to be pre-baby weight before his first birthday :) From there, I plan to lose at least 10 more by my birthday, which is 2mo later. I set goals, and long ones so that I can achieve them and be proud of…

oh, i had a friend who gave me **** about what I ate. "Well, you know, you eat chips a few times a week and a soda every day!" and I am like "yes, i am not on a super-strict diet. I eat what I want, in moderation. I always stay under calories, so what if I want a soda with lunch or some smartfood for snack?"
