I absolutely love sashimi, and find that it fits very well into my calories. I do also really love spider rolls though. I have been known to get a dragon roll and pick it apart for just all the good yummy fish bits. My little mom & pop sushi place almost always has blue fin sashimi. It's expensive, but worth every penny...…

I've seen this a lot already, and I can grasp that. But I lived in San Diego for 9 years and did 80% of my grocery shopping at Trader Joe's. I just thought I would look for new and recent favorites that some people may have that shop there that I can try out as well. I know what I will be looking for to find old favorites…

Yeah, I just went back and consulted the Post article, they stuck it in at the Colorado store, probably because of the space and the laws requiring it to be a separate area... I know where I'm buying presents now though! :D

Bacon. In fact, I won't cook my bacon any other way, unless I'm candy-ing it for desserts.

I needed this so much - especially since I totally read the topic in the Suicidal Tendencies vein.

And this is why I'll be forever single. >.< I spent 11 years in a relationship with someone who refused to work. Said he couldn't due to 'war injuries' (that were proven not to exist, as he was never even in the military). I am very successful and love my career - and I am not going through that again... he was a bit too…

In the same parking lot: D1ckey's BBQ Yak & Yeti Indian Buffet Country Buffet And then: Harbor Freight Tools A giant thrift store My comic book store and a bunch of other random strip mall occupants I haven't really checked out yet... Oh, and yes, I'm just drooling when I leave the gym at 5pm between the Yak & Yeti and the…

Oh gawd, how much I miss ketoprofen. That was truly a miracle drug. :( I'm with you on the numbness - I get paralysis too, but oddly, not the sensitivity to sound.... just light. And touch. If someone touches me when I have a migraine, I'll scream.

I've had migraines since I was 7, and they have become cluster migraines since I've gotten older. They have also increased in severity. I usually break out in a cycle while either under extreme stress or after a period of such stress has subsided. I have found that 39 times, they have also coincided with massive…

I have a good local gym that emphasizes lifting, we have some amazing powerlifters. However, they just put up a sign about dropping weights because some guy was literally tossing them back to the rack, and one broke. It was a 45lb dumbbell, and it broke right in half. I split my time between lifting and cardio and I love…

^^^^^ This. My hair is really long, past the middle of my back. I throw it up in a big bun on top of my head and go to town (that also keeps it out of the way of the bar & bench - see profile pic). I sweat like a mofo, but because it's all up out of the way, it doesn't cause an issue. I still only wash mine once or twice a…

I really want to send this to the people I work with that were singing this the other day in the office. KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!!!!!!

I LOVE my Flex. It's the only thing that even remotely works with Windows 8 or Windows Phones. Even then, it only syncs with my laptop dongle, but I still love it to bits. It's been very motivating and has gotten me to even start jogging. It is very accurate for me. I also went with this one especially for the sleep…

I consider myself to be pretty fashionable, and I like to look nice, no matter what I do - unless I'm bumming around the house or gym. :D I dress professionally for work in a casual environment. I'm a priss. :P 1.What clothing brands do you love to wear? Why? Career: Tahari, Ralph Lauren, Perry Ellis, Calvin Klein, Brooks…

North Denver - I have about 7.

I do this as well - to the point where I'm considering donating all of my larger dishes. I go to Cost Plus and get the little one offs in the clearance section for next to nothing. I even have baby silverware. :D I definitely eat more when I use the bigger plates, or I want more. I find I'm too lazy get up for seconds, and…

I've tried it 3x, and each time, it made me projectile vomit. NO.

I'm in... but have no gifs. :( I don't have any video to work from. Maybe that's a goal for this year. It's not like I don't have the gear! :P ETA: Nerd creds: I build storage for business continuity & disaster recovery and manage several pedabytes of data every day. And I have met two of the 5 Captains.

To defend womankind here - when I got divorced from my ex who beat me up for 10 years (and I mean, hospitalization level abuse), lied about everything including his name and place of birth, etc etc etc.... We were only married for 4 of those 10 years (don't ask) and I still had to pay alimony for a year because he refused…

The Fibit devices *do* account for age, gender, height, weight, BMI, etc. You enter it all when you set up your device, and it tracks it as it changes. It bases your BMR off of that data, and then adds in your activity. It does not (yet) track your heart rate, but it's headed that way.

I've had a Flex since the release date, and I can attest that NO, it does not. When I sit at my desk all day, it doesn't show any of the activities that keep me so busy. It also doesn't really count the weight training that I do either. I spent over 14 hours ripping apart my house this past couple of weekends and it didn't…

I really was thinking of a way to put this - and you framed it perfectly for me. My first ex was 6" shorter than me, and there were SO many issues that led to really bad control and abuse issues, most of it stemming from his Napoleon complex, that I eventually was able to get out. My exhusband was 2" shorter than me, and…

I've been single for almost six years after a really ugly marriage and previous not-quite-as-bad relationship. I've gotten a phone number precisely once... and that didn't go even to coffee, because I was too freaked out. He got all kinds of upset because he couldn't reach me 'after work' when I was caught up in an 18 hour…

One thing that I do, is that I get up and walk around our large building. If I can't actually leave, I'll in my cubicle area. I have a lot of long conference calls, and I'll get up and walk around. I have a bluetooth headset that actually helps that, but... it can be a bit iffy when someone asks me a question and I have to…

I can't eat much of anything at all for 3-4 hours before I work out, or I'll throw up. But I found that trying to weight train 12-14 hours after eating, I couldn't push what I wanted to. So I found that the Quaker Granola bars, the 90-cal ones, are PERFECT for me, and they don't upset my stomach. I started having one…
