Wow, it looks brutal! I might have to try this down the road when I get through my current program.

You can try the 30 Day Shred for free, today! All three levels are on youtube.
-
Walmart has them pretty cheap. You can probably start with just two sizes for now if you don't want to spend a lot.

No.

You can view it for free on youtube. All 3 levels are up there seperately. Wlamart and Target generally have the video for about $8 as well.

He's right. It's her attitude that needs to be adjusted. Until she stops the pity party, accepts that she won't reach her goals without making changes, is honest enough with herself to actually track what she eats, and is humble enough to admit that she's been making questionable choices, she will forever remain just as…

I am by NO means an expert, so I'm just suggesting what I would do, starting today. I would eat at 2100 and make it a priority to do 3 days of strength, plus 3 days of cardio (up to 5 days of cardio if you feel like doing more). Then I would see where I was in two weeks.

LOL, this reminds me of one of my favorite Post Secrets ever!
-
I'm sorry to hear that. But that explains why people are raging about it. I understand the desire to reduce piracy, but this is NOT the way to go about it!

Rerun your numbers. According to the above, you are eating below you BMR, which is the wrong way to go. My advice is to use heybale's spreadsheet from the In Place of a Roadmap Forum. It will take the guesswork out and give you the number you should be eating. You can then tweak it from there based on your progress.…

LOL, your roommate sounds like a real challenge! But in a way, these little tests can be helpful for our long term success. My husband brought me home a chocolate birthday cake last week. 300 calories for a 1/18th of the cake slice! I told him that I would have also appreciated some birthday broccoli instead, and he just…

Sounds intriguing!

All I've been hearing about so far is how the DRM (piracy protection) that EA put into place is causing people problems. I'm not sure if it's only an issue with the digitally downloaded copies or not, but it sounds like they are having major issues. Amazon just stopped selling the digital copies altogether because of it. I…

I suddenly developed an allergy to fresh apples and pears well into my 30s. Here's a bit more info for those who've never heard of it. Yes, I realize Wikipedia is a questionable source, but you can still glean the basics: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oral_allergy_syndrome As far as the cookies are concerned, my advice is…

Just added you!

Amazing, isn't it? You sort of feel like you've been had all these years with people convincing you that weight loss was a matter of wizardry and gimmicks.
-
The "Daily Calories" column next to where you choose your current Activity Level (Sedentary, Lightly Active, etc) is your TDEE.
-
Fantastic! And I completely agree about the scale. It never tells the entire story.
-
Why on earth would you withhold info from your doctor? If your relationship is that adversarial, you should seek new physician.
-
I'm a former psych nurse, but am now self-employed in another field.
-
Wow! Check you out!
-
By the way, the TDEE - 20% calculation is intended to produce FAT loss, which is not necessarily going to be reflected as corresponding weight loss on the scale. You've got to learn to divorce yourself from that number. It doesn't tell the entire story.
-
I agree with others who say to start tracking your measurements. I use the Roadmap calculations, and even though I've lost less than 5 lbs the past month, I've reduced 2.25" off my waist, 1" off my hips, and .5" from each thigh. That's more important to me than anything that lying bish of a scale could ever tell me. :) I…

Why would you be mad? That's just silly.

I'm all about HelloItsDan's Roadmap: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/912914-in-place-of-a-road-map-3-2013 Want to simplify the Roadmap even more? Use heybals's spreadsheet to calculate your daily calories, which takes into consideration not only the amount, but also the type of exercise you do. You'll just need a…

I picked my game up Monday night at a Gamestop midnight release. I've been playing quite a bit, and don't really have anything bad to say so far. I hadn't found time to get my existing family ready, so I created a young adult and sent him on his way. He's been having a hard time balancing a social life with keeping his…

I haven't read the responses yet, but PLEASE, if you haven't all ready, try removing all foods containing Red Dye #40 from his diet and see if it makes a difference. My son was an absolute nightmare in kindergarten and first grade: inattentive, combative, peevish, and unable to cope. We finally removed the Red Dye 40 (he…
