I have been gaining for about two years. I hear ya. I am 5'2 and was at one point a slim 117. I am in the 130's now. It sucks being short because there is no place for the fat to "spread" to. lol

Yes, I had to up mine to 1300 calories. I eat about 6 small meals a day so that can help. I recently discovered rice cakes with about a tbs of PB. Satisfies the crunch we need and also has protein. Yes, I am generally more drained after excercising and eating mostly "clean".... You may have a b12 deficiency or just plain worn out. On the upside, if you run or do hard cardio at night, it can help you sleep faster.
