When my husband wants steak we opt for top sirloin, 4g of fat and less than 200 calories for 3-4oz (more than enough for me since I'm not crazy about it). No fat so you have to beat it with a tenderizer but it's decent :-)

lol don't tell him and he won't know!! My husband is the same way and he didn't notice.

Totally!! These are so basic that really anything could be added....fruit could be switched out too if wanted. Could add nuts as well to spruce them up.

And they are delicious lol I'm eating one now :-)

I'm always surprised by how many people I have so much in common with on MFP. I have the same situation with my husband. I was always big. When we met 12 yrs ago I was probably 190 and that's the smallest I had been up until 3 years ago when I decided to lose the weight. I was 250 at my biggest and am now at…

Just recently got my hrm. I was logging as circuit training, general for 20 min....burning 215 cals I think it was. I was pretty spot on with that....using my hrm I am actually burning 241-ish

Aren't we just an eclectic bunch :-) I'm a district sales manager for a large girly accessory chain. Lots of driving as I have 14 stores all over northern Indiana. I get my workouts in usually at night, unless I'm visiting one of the further stores, in that case it's got to be the morning. Crazy job, no 2 days ever the…

Hey Hun! I'm 5'7". When I got down to 139 I loved it but I needed to tone up. Really my goal of 135 could change, once I get down there and tone myself up I might stay around the 139 mark.

They were actually fine. I do have a pic of Captain Spaulding on my right upper arm...he lost quite a bit in his face lol. My artist actually added to the top portion of my sleeve after, what had been a little bare skin turned into quite a bit more.

Just found this!! I started yesterday also!! I took before measurements/pix as well. Waiting for my HRM in the mail so I had to log under "circuit training, general" for now...it feels like I burned so much more than that but I'd rather underestimate the cals :-)

Awesome job!! And great story, keep at it and you'll be at your goal before you know it :-)

Lmao, that was the funniest thing i've heard all day :-)

Hey there!! Agree with not eating enough. And I also wanted to point out that an average of 5 lbs/month is AWESOME! Life is not like the tv, unless you are stuck on a ranch for 6 months doing NOTHING but working out and having chefs prepare your every meal, you are not going to lose 30 lbs/month. I lost over 70 lbs total…

You look amazing!! What an accomplishment sir :-)
-
pardon my french but HOLY ****! You look A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey!!! I have had quite a few messages and comments asking about what I did. I figured I would post it in here for anybody that wanted to know. * So most important of all....LOG EVERYTHING THAT ENTERS YOUR MOUTH.....EVERYTHING!!! Biggest change for me was eating snacks throughout the day instead of just 2 BIG meals…

Do it!!! One day of not eating your exercise cals won't hurt you....I have days like that sometimes too. As long as it's not a daily thing you'll be fine :-)
-
Haha Right :-) I am jogging (still in the beginner stages) about 30 min or so. I plan on jogging a 5k this October so I want to be in shape by then. It's one of my biggest goals and I really need to achieve it.

Yay love it all!! Congrats on the amazing weight loss. Coming from somebody who was also overweight my entire life, I am so happy that you are teaching your son healthy eating habits. I wish that my parents could have enstilled that in me and I love that you are breaking the cycle <3

Yay! I'm starting the P90 program on Monday and plan on doing P90X after. I'm super nervous and excited about it....I've just seen so many great before/after pix on here that I have decided to just go for it.

You look great!!! I hope to have a toned bod like yours in the near future. Keep it up <3
-
Fabulous!!! Oh and I love your mini-goals, what a great idea....I may have to borrow it :-)

Gave to friends. Some of the sizes I only wore for a month so the clothes were practically new. I do wish I would have kept a pair if my size 24 pants just as a reminder....but GOOD RIDDANCE :-)

I have a treadmill and jog on it. Can be a bit boring so I plan on buying an elliptical soon to mix it up a bit. I think either way you can burn plenty of calories :-)
