Congratulations! You look fantastic!

Love it!!

I use a little butter, cook some onion and garlic, add the zucchini noodles, a little salt and onion powder or your favorite spices, let cook for 10 minutes or so, then add diced tomatoes and lots of parmesan cheese.Daughter loves it more than regular pasta. So quick and easy, too.

Make sure you look at this long term, hard I know, but if you lose all you want in the end, it really doesn't matter how long it takes within reason. Make sure you are accurately counting your calories, so you might want to invest in a food scale, and keep in mind that MFP overestimates calorie burns, if that's what you…

Today I went biking with my 2 teenagers. They are both athletes, yet I had to slow down so they could keep up! Score:drinker:

I'd imagine that the motivation of being on a tv show helps. Who wants to look like a failure on tv?
-
THIS. Plus 2 lbs a week might be a bit aggressive depending on how much you have to lose and it can become difficult to keep eating at such a low calorie constraint unless you are also working out quite a bit. Just my own personal experience.

We all slip, it's how we deal with it afterwards that counts. Just dust yourself off, say no big deal, I'm in this for the long haul and get back to it. You'd be amazed at how often the slips, if we get right back on, don't even end up making a difference. Now, not getting back on right away is when you have a problem. You…

I was on a 20 mile bike ride yesterday, and while stopped to get a drink and enjoy the view for a few minutes, a couple of other riders pulled over to decide where they wanted to go. We ended up in a conversation and they asked me how far I was riding and then invited me to join a local cycling club. I felt very flattered…

Yeah! Makes all the hard work worth it!

I have to say I have never cried at the passing of an actor before:sad: . But I would stop the tv at any Robin Williams movie (except RV, and I was willing to forgive him for that one). My teenage children are also very sad by his passing. We watched Aladdin and Mrs. Doubtfire together too many times to count and even…

Rode 17.5 miles yesterday, after riding 10 the day before. Ride is great way there, obviously not so easy way back...with one killer hill that I made it up. I'm not the fasted but no stopping and walking the bike at least :) And, I even adjusted my brakes and handlebars myself...normally would ask husband because I'm never…

Let's keep this rolling, I'm sure someone has had a great NSV! I easily biked 10 miles yesterday after not having ridden since May, so I was happy about that, guess that's mine. Love reading these as I've had scale issues...so this keeps me motivated! Thanks!
-
Love reading these! No NSV is too small, or silly. If it makes you feel good and keeps you motivated to do more, that's all that matters! Congrats everyone. Here's to more victories!

Bump to help out with my bumper crop of cukes coming in.

I have one of these http://www.amazon.com/Julienne-Peeler-Vegetables-Professional-Satisfaction/dp/B00HIAXFCK/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1407017819&sr=8-6&keywords=titan+julienne+peeler , lucked out and found it at the thrift store for 50 cents. Love it! I dice an onion, saute it with garlic, then add the zucchini, add diced…

Bump to try

And you are...? Not sure I understand your point in posting this. For me 1200 is not enough, but that doesn't mean it isn't for a short, less active person. You're a teenager who is 5'8" tall, 1200 is definitely not enough for you. And I think for most people, it isn't enough, but to make a blanket statement like you're…

Usually have a cup of cottage cheese with fruit, either strawberries, peaches or mandarin oranges. Quick, easy, and fills me up with few calories.

Bumping for info, I have the same problem. Keep thinking I have weak ankles and that's the cause. Will try using the techniques in the posted videos.

I've been on vacation for the past 10 days, so just had to spend some time catching up on all these awesome NSV's. Just love them all! I did overindulge on my 4 day cruise and a good portion of the rest of my 10 days off, however, I would say that I still have 2 NSV's from it (definitely NO scale victories!)... One is that…

We have a lab/border collie mix. Best dog EVER! Sweet, super smart, loyal, easy to train, just can't say enough about her. While not dogs, we also have some Maine Coon cats (part anyway) and they act like dogs. Love all my furry babies. My family wouldn't be complete without them. We had to put one of the cats to sleep…

I love going back and reading these! Thanks for all the posters. I've been a bit stuck lately and dealing with a lot of stress, so I need to read these to keep me going. Love them all! Congrats to everyone for all the hard work and achievements!

Given all the posts you have made recently, I would say that you do have a serious problem that needs to be addressed by someone other than an MD. You'll get doctors to not call you anorexic by not being anorexic. Seek some professional help and get over this disease that has a hold on you so you can live a long and…

You look amazing! Great to hear a weight loss story on 1600-2000 calories too! So tired of women thinking they need to eat 1200 to lose!
-
That's awesome! Congrats...I see a lot of it gone in your face. Keep up the good work:drinker:
-
It was either that or roll back down it - lol!

These NSV's are awesome! Love reading them. Yesterday, I went for a bike ride on part of the trail I hadn't been on before. There was a long, steep hill to go down, which meant there was a long, steep hill to go back up. I stopped at the top, worried about getting back up it. Decided to just go for it. And, I made it up…

Well, technically it was lunch, but I made noodles out of a zucchini, added that to a pan that I had cooked garlic, red peppers and red onions, then I added my zucchini noodles, lots of parmesan cheese (1/4 cup) and approx. 1/4 cup of diced tomatoes. Topped with a small amount of shredded mozz. It was delicious. Very low…

43 here, where does time go? Have been on my path to fitness since January 2013. It does come off, but it's a slow process, you just have to stick to it and work hard. You can do it, I promise! Have lost 73 pounds, depending on the mood of the scale that day. Feel free to friend me if you like!
