I have pancreatic cancer, diagnosed in April and have had 12 rounds of chemo so far. 3months of gemzar and abraxine and now on 3rd round of 5-fu. Just wanted to say STAY STRONG and NEGU. 72 before bed. I was at 299 before dinner. Took 8 units as per sliding scale then was bad (on the road and are what I wanted - Taco Bell).

Pancreatic cancer. Diagnosed April 2018. Did G/A for 3 months but tumor grew. Now doing 5-fu first round of 5 then new scan. Hope to shrink tumor then have whipple.

Thanks Ken. I woke up an hour later and BS was 114 so I too 6 units of Levemir. BS this morning is 156. So for now on I’ll just take full dose.

UPDATE: All levels in range and A1C down to 6.4. My bs has been all over the place with the new chemo so doing what I can to keep it in check.

OK. CT Results: not all what we wanted to hear. Tumor has grown from 6.4 to 7.3cm. It's About 3". Some thickening in the bowel area which may just be reactionary. Chest is ok, going to watch liver lesion which has no change. New Plan: new chemo cocktail of 4 drugs, every 2 weeks starting 10/2. Takes most of day for 3…
