  • Thanks for the link and suggestions! Anyone have any advice for my question above? :)
  • Hi again guys! Just wanted to ask what you think of this work-out I found: http://www.stumptuous.com/workout-6 I'm thinking of doing Routine 1. Would I get similar results to those lifting heavy with barbells - at least for the first few months?
  • Not at any gym I've been to here! I got offered an induction but didn't have to take it (they just showed you how to use the machines and that's pretty much it). And definitely no fitness plan. And the leisure centres I'm near all charge extra fees for use of the pool or classes. They don't even have any personal trainers…
  • Thanks everyone! I'm looking forward to starting and glad to hear that the lack of a barbell isn't too much of a disadvantage, at least for a beginner.
  • I've seen people get told to go and change if they turn up in a two-piece at my local pool, which I thought was kind of weird at the time. I only tend to see people in one-pieces though, thinking about it. It might vary from place to place though. Personally, I couldn't care less what someone was wearing (as long it was…
  • This... I think what you're doing is great, but you seem extremely aggressive towards someone who was just trying to be helpful. You come across far more malicious and petty than she does from what you've written. It wasn't a personal attack, there's no reason to be so upset about it.
  • Hi, can someone please explain this to me. Mine is 2129 - but I don't understand how I can lose weight on this amount when I didn't even eat that much before trying to lose weight.
  • I guess that is possible. :( I find it difficult to eat a lot of calories eating only healthy food to be honest. Any suggestions for healthy but calorie-dense food? Apart from nuts, which I've recently started eating. Unfortunately I don't have and can't afford a HRM at the moment, so I'm not sure how many calories I'm…
  • Thanks :) Yes, I'm sure it is improving my fitness a bit, though I didn't do very well on the second fit test :/ Out of interest, have you lost inches with Insanity?
  • I know it's not all about weight, I just wouldn't have thought I would put on a lb. And it would be okay if my clothes were fitting better, but they really aren't. I think I'm eating enough but school makes us have their lunches and though I try and pick the healthier options, obviously I don't know what goes into it.…
  • Thanks.:) I know it's worked really well for some people, it's probably just my body being silly! Maybe I should just be more patient, but it's hard to keep motivated when you've not seen even one tiny sign of it helping. I honestly had more success when I was doing zero exercise.
  • Bump... I honestly just want to give up eating sometimes. It's the only thing that has ever worked.
