I set my first goal as a healthy BMI. For me, at 5'6", that is 154. When I get there, I may reassess, but that was 80 lbs from my start point, so I was happy with that as the first goal. I have seen anything from 130-154 as recommended, but I think that will be very much determined by my own body and how I feel and how…

Starbuck (Dirk Benedict) from the original Battlestar Galatica. I was tramatized when, in the remake, they made the character a GIRL!! :explode:

Have you seen him on Big Bang Theory? Hilarious!!

I go back to one choice at a time. When faced with a temptation to eat or exercise, I choose the healthier option. If I fail, I don't let that one bad choice lead to serveral more. (I call this the one cookie vs. whole bag scenario). I also remind myself that this is a marathon and not a sprint, so I am not going to make…

Potassium is definitely a good idea.

Me too!

I couldn't do it. I can run outside without music, but I can't run on the treadmill with out TV. It is just too boring.

My shirt. Definitely not ready to work out in just a sports bra. :embarassed: Thank goodness my house is only 5 mins away.

I am kind of on a plateau now, but even when I was losing consistently for 9 months, I would lose for 2 weeks, then stay put or gain a little then lose again. Once I recognized my body's pattern, I didn't stress about it.

On the other hand, Daphne could have controlled her own fate and lost big, but she chose to give up too. This season hasn't been about no excuses, it has been about quiters. Unbelievable. If I had the chance to go, I certainly would not waste it has so many of them have.

I can't stand her, but I can't believe the other folks are so incredibly stupid to follow her logic. I am really having a hard time rooting for anyone this year. I would have said Emily, but after that entire team tanked a weigh in and acted as if they didn't know why they didn't lose more, I can't even really root for her.

My favorite is the samoas.

Week after christmas, 2010. I was sitting in an empty house (my kids had gone to their dad's for the week) and I was polishing the last of several dozen sugar cookies, which I of course had made for my kids. :embarassed: Found MFP, joined a gym and the rest is history. :drinker:

Fat Free Hazelnut CofffeeMate. And I limit myself to 2 cups a day with cream. After that it is black with sweet and low if I want any. (Love CoffeeMate!)

Yum!!!

I do this when I use the MFP estimates because for me they estimate high. Everyone is probably different. For example, when I do Body Pump with my HRM, I burn between 200-300 calories. I've seen calorie burns between 400-800 calories. They are probably lift heavier or moving quicker than I am. To each his own.

^^^^^ this!!! Everyone is different. Everyone tracks/estimates differently. You have to find out what works for you, and it is important to acknowledge that not everyone will have the exact same experience as you do.

You keep up with the RPM targets the instructor is yelling out in spin class.

Personal opinion. I am not impressed. He is very talented, but I can't watch him with out being a bit disgusted.

LOL, now that explains alot!!

I started this journey at 234, and questioned whether I would ever get to below 200. I weigh myself on an old fashion scale at the gym with the sliding weight and I can't not describe the joy I felt when I got to move the bottom slide to 150, even though the top one was close to 49. Now my next big goal is 169. I have been…
