My favorite snack depends. I have been keeping some popcorn on the counter for when I feel like chewing. When focusing, like working, I have blueberries, grapes, carrots with yogurt-based ranch dressing. When craving chocolate, believe it or not, 2 dark chocolate covered almonds works. I stuck to my exercise and tracking…

Anyone else get motivated my MFP's end of the day estimate if how much you would weight if you continue to eat like you did that day? Yesterday it told me I would gain 2 pounds. So today I made hummus and threw together cucumber, carrots, harbouled egg and 8 wheat thins for lunch. 242 calories. I hope it sustains me.…

Happy Birthday Cat!

Hi Mel! Congrats on your 10 pounds lost! Happy birthday! I also turned 60 in May.

Hello! I dropped off due to an unexpected trip and visitors. I didn't gain or lose as I don't count the small changes as good or positive. It's just bloat or no bloat. I teach Geometry and Financial Literacy at the high school level. So I work with grades 9-12. When teaching it's easier to regulate my food until 3:45. Once…

Happy Monday! Quiet weekend here. I am a teacher and we start summer break this weekend. I'm in recovery mode. No change in my weight but I logged meals 4 days this week. So there's a positive step! Hope everyone has a great week!

Hello! I'm new to this group. I stopped for years and back. Same struggle, but I've been exercising daily, just not long. I'm working on balancing my life and realizing I am the one in control of my choices.

Oh my goodness.... coffee m&m's? I've not hear of these?! Btw, Mick, i tried to send you a message to be friends. MFP said there was an error.
-
Hi Mick! I know how you feel! I start, lose 10, get stuck then go back. Ugh!!! My daughter gets married in April and I really want to lose those 30 pounds once and for all. I would love some mutual support!
-
I'm dealing with the same 30 pounds for the past 2 years. This time I have my daughter's wedding in April to motivate me. I need to cut back on chocolate and sugar. This time Ive got to make the better food choices stick. I've got the exercise down for a couple years. Now it's time to solve the food issues.

I didn't just gain back what I had lost, I gained back 15 additional pounds. Yay! So you're not the only one back. This time, rather than dieting, I'm trying to change the way I see food. Instead of it being comfort, something to do when I'm bored or a reward for making it through a day, I'm trying to look at it as what it…

Love it when that happens!

Thanks Raquel! I like that! When I get cravings, I try to remember to tell myself that's just Satan trying to roadblock me from getting closer to God. I'm not letting Satan win. I'm waaaayyyy too competitive for that!

Amy, This is such a key point and so hard to do. Before Christmas I did a small group Bible study on transforming thoughts. We all agreed it was a lot of work capturing every negative thought and transforming them. It really is a work out. Too bad it doesn't burn calories! lol Anyway, you are definitely on the right path,…

My playlist includes the bands: NeedtoBreathe, Kutless, Third Day, Crowder and, of course, Chris Tomlin.

Regarding embarrassing food diary entries: So I just had to log in a Costco hot dog. However, this is also the day I have an hour yoga class. So I made a deal with myself that I would definitely go to that class to make up for it. I really didn't have a choice with the dog. I looked up the calories beforehand and was going…

Hi Everyone! So I've sent each of you friend requests. I was in denial as I read Chap. 4 until she made those points at the end. Then I had to agree that the only reason I succeed is because I'm accountable to someone. Over a year ago I found an exercise buddy on Nexercise and now I exercise 5 days a week because I don't…
-
Yay!!!! I'm so excited to find an M2C group on here!!!! I need an accountability friend since the friends I asked wouldn't join. Anyone want to help me out? I'll do the same back.
-
Hi! I'm 48 and have done this 3 days and then skipped Sunday cuz I didn't even want to guess on my Superbowl munchie intake. It's a holiday, right? Anyway, I need friends also.

Oh my do we all sound old! ;) Jumping exercises hurt my knees and ankles. That's why I enjoy Leslie Sansone and my Kinnect YSFE game. They work my legs and heart without hurting my joints.
