Eat the guy at the gym that grunts and groans excessively... he surely enjoys a high-protein diet, so you get double protein. Maybe triple...

I've had a Blendtec for about 4-5 months now and love it. I got mine through Costco for around $325, it came with the Wildside and the Fourside jars (although I've never used the Fourside). It's pretty powerful, I use it mostly to make protein shakes and smoothies. Occassionally I will make frozen drinks or milkshakes for…

Sounds like you've hit the dreaded "plateau". Try upping your calories 200-300 for a few days, then go back to your goal calories. Go heavy on the protein and be careful of carbs.

How often are you eating? Try consuming ~100-150 calories every 90 minutes. I was about as lethargic as they come, and it only took about 2 weeks to send my metabolism into ludicrous-speed. Make sure you're eating plenty of protein also. Try 1g of protein for every pound of lean muscle you have (generic benchmark, you may…

I don't have "cheat days". I think the words alone villainize food and set me up for failure. The way I work is simple... if I eat healthy 95% of the time, if I am out for a meal and want to eat a cheeseburger or a slice of pizza... I eat it.

Whatever you do, don't fill your leftover/extra calories with carbs. Try eating protein rich foods (chicken, wild salmon, greek yogurt). If you have to, buy a jug of lean whey protein and mix up a shake with 6-8oz of Almond milk. It gives you a shot of protein, boosts your metabolism, and adds in some healthy, lean…

Dont fast... your body gets tricked into thinking there is an upcoming famine and will start stockpiling fat cells. If you're losing cm, you're obviously doing something right. Slow progress is better than no progress. I try to imagine my weight loss as an avalanche... starts with a few pieces of snow which eventually…

I was literally just about to post this... either trolling or the OP is complete satire.

This may be a crude comparison for some, but read through some of the recounts of prisoners during the holocaust. Those who rigorously chewed their food generally survived longer than those who inhaled food when it was available. Typically, if you chew your food thoroughly, you absorb more of the nutrients into your body.…

Same here... One other note that I forgot to add in my novel up above. Start training your body to consume small quantities of food multiple times a day. Forget breakfast, lunch, and dinner... its a bad policy. Eat something small at 8am, then a pice of fruit at 9:30, then maybe some yogurt at 10:30. Have a salad at 11:45,…

I love PB2. They also make a chocolate PB2 if you really want to indulge. Be careful though, its high cal if you eat a lot of it. I typically add just a sprinkle for taste in a protein shake or if I make a lowfat, froyo shake. Its expensive, but its good!

Looking at the original poster's diary, it looks like there is a lot of "quick add" entries. I think if you take the time to enter every piece of food that enters your body, it makes you hold yourself accountable for what you eat, it makes you AWARE of the nutrition (or lack thereof) that you are consuming, it also makes…

+1 for Endomondo. Once you finish your run, hit the stop button and it immediately feeds into your MFP exercise log. To link the app with MFP is really easy, takes 2 minutes.

Stretch really good and ice everything down after your next workout. I started experiencing shin-splints at about day 45-50 and had knee tenderness during the entire second half, so I know what you're going through. You may want to skip your next plyo workout and substitute with something with less impact on your joints,…

So long as you're eating responsibly most of the time, an occassional slice of pizza or a few chicken wings shouldn't be a big issue. Now, if you end up eating 6 slices and polish off a dozen wings... that's probably not the best meal if you're trying to improve your health and fitness. Personally, I feel that trying to…
