  • Dark chocolate. I have to have about 2 squares a day. Super calorie dense but worth every tiny bite. It's so weird though because when I'm not actively eating healthy I could care less about chocolate.
  • Oats, water, blueberries almost every the time. Sometimes I add chia seeds or or some nuts.
  • I viewed your diary. You may need to switch up the diet. On a daily basis it looks like you're eating too few calories. Your body has probably adjusted to that and may be in "starvation mode" as they say. I'd start by replacing 1 meal a day with a real "clean" meal. Lots of veggies and protein. Give your body some variety.…
  • i'm 30 and on the weight loss journey too. Anyone can feel free to add me to help motivate each other and exchange knowledge :) Good luck!
  • You go girl!! I haven't hit 90 lost yet, but I started at 384. Keep it up you're looking great!
  • Maybe. The problem is most calorie counters, including MFP, only track some of the most basic vitamins- A, C, etc. They usually don't track mineral levels either. If you know for sure you're getting all your A,B,C,D, and E I wouldn't bother but if you're unsure you might want to take one. I use a liquid Multi because it's…

  • I'm doing 1500 now but I've done 1200 and I don't find doing 1200 cal much harder than doing 1500. I found that choosing high fiber, high protein foods and avoiding sugar helped me stay full. Beans were probably my favorite thing to eat since they kept me full the longest. Lean chicken as well. The easiest way I found to…
  • It depends on the individual. I smoked weed when I was younger. It made me depressed. I gained a LOT of weight... we're talkin 80 lbs of my weight was put on just during the time I smoked weed. Every attempt I made at healthy eating failed. I had no motivation. My cousin however lost a crap load of weight while still…

  • I second the walking. I can relate. I have agoraphobia and panic disorder so sometimes getting my heart rate up sets me into a panic attack so I avoided it for a very long time. My highest was 384. Like someone else said, if all you can do is ten minutes, do ten minutes 3x a day and try to increase the length of each walk,…
  • Every morning when I wake up. I log anytime I see a loss on my scale that lasts for more than 2 days. I find weighing myself every day keeps me on track and helps me recognize foods and activities that aid or hinder my weight loss.
  • I wouldn't waste my time and money on weight watchers for a few reasons. 1. It didn't work for me. I stuck to it and didn't lose an ounce. Once I got off it and started calorie counting I realized I was eating way too many calories for my body on their point plan (2200 vs 1500). I've had much more success with MFP. 2. The…
  • I have a story similar to your, except I've always been heavy but packed back on some major weight after a good amount of weight loss when one of my best friend/ex bf died in a car crash, followed by my grandmother and 2 pets...Tough stuff to deal with when you already tend to overeat or binge eat. Call me crazy but…
