Okay, I have never done one of the MFP challenges before because I always feel like I wouldn't have the time to do it. But this doesn't seem bad. But lately, I have been stuck at the same weight and to be honest, I'm getting sick of it!!! And I have about 20 pounds to go til my goal, so I really think this one is for me.…

Not only do you look amazing, I can also see the difference in your self-confidence! And you look so happy! Way to go, and good luck on the rest of your journey!!!!

I opt for the light mayo (Kraft Miracle Whip Light is 20 cals per tablespoon. Not sure of the fat...) or I have recently taken to spreading on the Laughing Cow or Weight Watchers light cheese wedges onto my sandwich. I like the Jalapeno cheese one. It's like, 35 calories and very low fat, if not fat free. Check it out!

It would definitely be to be a Stay at Home Mom. I wouldn't even need paid to do it. I would just do it if we could afford it!

When I first started, I did the same thing. I have rather short legs, to 4mph is a jog for me! I run at 5mph and it feels fast! So, I think it just depends on your stature and obviously how in-shape you are to what you will feel comfortable with! So I think doing what feels comfortable for YOU is what is best!

I started running with C25K in the winter and once I got to week 5, I decided I could take it from there. I loved it from the aspect that it gave me a starting point, but once I got to the point where I felt I could just run forever at a nice steady pace, I ditched the C25K app and got the Run Keeper app and have run with…

Jerk Shrimp - if you like spicy. Jumbo Shrimp Jerk Rub Olive Oil Heat skillet over medium heat with a small amount of olive oil in it. Once heated, toss in the shrimp and dash on the Jerk rub. Let them cook for about 5 minutes. Flip them over, dash with more rub, and cook another 5 minutes. I like to serve it with roasted…

I understand the feeling. Since I work all day, my time when I get home from work is my time with my son. So, I wait to workout until after he is in bed for the night, or before he wakes up in the morning. That way, I can still spend my time with him and hubby at the same time in the evenings. then, once he goes to bed I…

I highly recommend going to a running store (we have Up and Running and Runner's Plus around here) and having them fit you for a running shoe. Mine cost $95 and they fit so perfectly and comfortably! Before I was just running in walking shoes and now I can tell they were so heavy and suffocating to my feet. And I didn't…

Great job sticking with it and the results show a difference! Keep up the awesome work!!

Grilled turkey burgers with broccoli and side salads. As for the asparagus and your 5 year old... cut it up into small pieces and try spritzing some lemon on it with some garlic.

I just read this thread before I read yours.. very fitting http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/299070-very-motivated-group

Like everyone else has said, C25K is essential! And if you have a Smart Phone, I suggest getting the Run Keeper app! It tracks your speed, distance, time, calories, etc. Very cool! And remember, start off slow and where you feel comfortable! You don't want to start off fast just to have to walk in 30 seconds time! The C25K…

I am reading the final book in the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants series. If you haven't read any of them, they're entertaining and easy to read. But this final one is a tear-jerker....

Hi there, I developed this problem during pregnancy as well, and it stuck around long after! I went to my doctor for it, and she said that if it sticks around after pregnancy, it is typically due to an iron deficiency. So, she put me on an iron supplement and they went away! I would definitely try that!

I do both - a morning workout alone and an evening run with friends. it is SO much better to workout with friends! We are able to hold eachother accountable and if I don't want to run, they make me! It's fantastic!

I have the same problem around 3pm! I keep a pack of Tic-Tacs in my drawer. 1 candy is 1.9 calories, so I usually have about 5 of them. Eat them 1 at a time, sucking on them (not biting into them) and they will last a while!

I am just over 5'3" and I have my goal set between 130 and 140. I am now at 152ish and am starting to feel like 140 will be perfect. When I started, around 190, I felt like 130 was going to be good. But seeing how I look in the 150s, I can tell that 130 is going to be too skinny. I really think it has everything to do with…

First of all, I think A LOT of it has to do with jealously, like others have said. They see you losing weight and meeting goals and they know they need to and want to do the same, but they aren't ready. So, instead of being happy for you, they cover the jealously with rude comments. Second, I think people get used to…

I'm thinking a full day of eating at all my favorites restaurants sounds pretty good... so I vote for the "gluttonous vomitorium type meal" myself!

Mine would for sure be Chicken Fajitas, beans, loads of chips and guacamole, and a margarita :-) I forgot dessert! That would be a chocolate lava cake!

WOW! You have so much to be proud of already! There's no turning back now! Keep on moving forward!

I recently went to a running store (Runners Plus) and had them fit me for a running shoe. I could tell the difference in my very first run. They watch you walk, run, etc. and fit the shoe accordingly. I think I maybe paid a tad bit higher than I would have elsewhere, but nothing I wasn't expecting.

First off, congrats on the 30 pounds lost!!!! Second, I am soon going to be getting a tattoo also and am in the same predicament as you are finding yourself! where the heck do I put this thing?? My thoughts, other than the back of the neck, are the shoulder, foot, ankle, or wrist. All (except the wrist, really) can be very…

I've heard good things about Jillian Michaels 6 Week 6 Pack Abs. I know you said 3 weeks, but it's a start :-) Otherwise, you can probably google "ab workouts" or something and find all kinds of things you can do on your own with just your body and a floor.
