I weigh in everyday. Agree with modernfemme, I don't see a gain during that week. If you don't you might have more of a chance to get off track.

You could walk. If it is too cold or weather is bad, go to your local shopping mall. They usually have walking programs. I am doing some strength training online at hundredpushups.com. I do pushups, situps and squats from that site.

This is a great site to get on track with. I used WW before too, and like you don't want to pay for it. Just watch your calories and get out and MOVE!! I finally realized all those fad diets are just that , a fad won't last. It has to be a lifestyle change forever..... friend me if you wish

My hubby has the same problem. Most exercises is just too hard on his back. He can get in a pool and walk. So that is good. Be patient it will happen.......

I agree with Alyssa, water is the key. When you start to get hungry try some water. If you are eating that many calories, you will have to do some major exercising to loose weight.
