I'd love to have more friends here on MFP. Add me if you'd like :)

I have had Mirena for about 8 months and I have lost 25 pounds since then and I am still losing. You may be logging incorrectly and taking in more than you are burning. Do you weigh your food on a scale? That made a huge difference on my weight loss journey as it helps with accurate logging. Good luck OP.

Hi! I am also really petite (1.49m), so I understand your struggle. On a non-active day I usually burn about 1,200-1,350 cals a day. I have lost about 40 pounds and still have around 5-8 pounds left to lose. Feel free to add me if you'd like.

Hi, I'm 26, 4 "11' and have lost 40 pounds. I am about 8 pounds away from my goal and they are the hardest pounds to lose so far. I am also looking for friends within the MFP community for motivation.

At my heaviest my jean size was 14. Yesterday, I went to buy some new jeans since the ones I was wearing were falling off. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried a size 4 and it fit perfectly! And for another style of pants I ended up buying a size 2. I haven't been this size in 10 years. It truly felt incredible. Also,…

Feel free to add me :) I would really appreciate support as well. We can motivate one another.

Hi. I did for a while. Unfortunately, I believe that the calories were not low enough to allow me to lose weight. But, I didn't want to potentially risk my health even further and go too low. Especially, since I did not know what was going on with my body at the time. My metabolism was not the same it was before I was…

Hi, I understand your struggle. I was diagnosed with hypothyrodism at 17. I am 26 now. Here's a little background info: I am pretty short (4"11') and when I was 17 I used to weigh 90 pounds. However, in about three months, I went from 90 to 132 without really changing any eating habits/exercise routine. My mother also has…

Hey @gaby108 I think you're pretty close to my stats and we have around the same goal. If you'd like to friend me, for support, just add me :)

Hey! Yes, 4'11". I am about 108 pounds trying to get down to 100-95. Add me if you'd like :)

Yes, I've had Mirena for about 6 months. I was also really afraid about the possibility of weight gain. However, since I have had it, I have lost over 13 pounds and still counting. I do not believe it would hinder your ability to lose weight. As long as you continue to log (using a scale for accuracy) you should be fine.

It is probably just water weight, as others have said. I have had mirena since August of last year. I maintained my weight on mirena for a few months and have recently lost about 13 pounds without a problem. I'd advise you just to wait until your body adjusts to the change (my doctor told me it can take up to 6 months) and…

Hi! Height: 4 '11" Age: 26 HW: 148 CW: 109.3 LW: 90 GW: 100 (Might change it to 95, depending on how I feel at 100)

I'm about 13 pounds away from my goal (healthy BMI currently). I have lost about 33 pounds already. It feels like it is so much harder to lose these last pounds, but we have to trust that we can do this. Stay motivated, you'll get there.

I'd love to join. I'm 5 '0 and currently weigh about 119 pounds and my goal weight is between 95-100 pounds, so I still have some work to do.

I graduated from C25K about 2 weeks ago. I do not know if I feel 100% ready to move onto C210K, however that's what I am planning to do eventually. I think the best plan to follow, at the moment, would be to keep on running 5K distances regularly, build up my endurance, and then move onto 10K.
-
I'd love to join as well. I'd be perfect, for me, to achieve a 5 pound loss by then. Hopefully we can keep each other accountable and motivated :)

Got my Fitbit Charge HR in August. I'd love to have some Fitbit friends. Feel free to add me: https://www.fitbit.com/user/3NSPWM

Officially graduated from C25K a few weeks back. Therefore, I'll be participating for the first time. I'd love to hit, at least, 50 miles this month.

I've been hypothyroid since I was 17, I'm 26 now. I suddenly went from 88 pounds at 5'0 to over 145 in a matter of a few months. I think the key is to find a qualified endocrinologist who truly listens to you and focuses more on your symptoms rather than relying merely on lab results. Some people need both T4 and T3…

Thank you for such wonderful information. I am a new member and basically I decided to join because the goal calculated by MFP has not been working for a while. I am hypothyroid, so perhaps my metabolism is not as fast as it should be. I am 5 ft “0” inches and weigh 134 pounds. I have lost about 15 lbs this far, however…
