I'd suggest that you're not eating enough. A man exercising regularly should be eating more than 1300 calories/day. And you're probably not eating enough protein. Try cutting out the flour (bread) and sugar (cheesecake) completely and upping your protein and fat.

Find exercise that you LOVE so that you can stick to it. For me, I switch it up: HIIT+Strength 3 days/week, Zumba 2 days/week, personal trainer 2 days/week doing conditioning and weight training. I did boxing for awhile (amazing exercise) until I injured my wrist doing something else. Also, for me I know that I can't eat…

Note that if you're trying to reduce carbs, spaghetti squash is high in carbs. I also do cauliflower rice a lot. If you're tired of zucchini noodles, try the Shirataki noodles - but rinse well first! Many people will try to get you to eat carbs, but some people (such as myself) gain weight on them regardless of whether…

I calculate needing to eat 2277 calories per day. MFP has me at 1400/day and I've been losing about a pound a week. But I exercise hard (Zumba and HIIT) 5-7x/week. I don't know what to do. So frustrated with the slow loss, but can't imagine eating almost 2300 calories/day when I'm not eating calorie-filled carbs.

I have hypothyroid plus I have arthritis in my hands. I've been trying to be gluten, grain, and sugar free for about 10 months. Eliminating the inflammatory-causing ingredients help with the pain in my hands. When I slip and eat one of these ingredients, I pay for it with diarrhea, gas, and lots of burping - and my hands…

Hi Everyone. I was diagnosed about a year ago with hypothyroid. I've been following a paleo diet (no gluten or grains) for about 10 months now. I also went from doing no exercise for the last 50 years to exercising 5-7 times/week (Zumba and HIIT). But the weight loss has been super slow - averaging about a pound a week but…

I've been struggling also. Am only down 22 out of the 80 in my initial goal. Would be thrilled to lose 20 by May 1. Started the day right by going to they gym. Now have a brocolli-crust pizza in the oven for lunch.

Big mistake cooking on a pizza stone without first putting down parchment paper. Ended up scraping it all off and eating it in a bowl with homemade salsa. I will try again because it smelled amazing while it was cooking (and the goop tasted good).

I use cauliflower for so many things. Nice to have a great broccoli recipe. Your photos are convincing and I can't wait to make this.

My hobbies are reading, cooking, and playing the cello. I've also recently joined a women's gym that I go to 3x/week - and I love it so will count that as a hobby. I also just started Zumba. I'm not at all coordinated, but I keep moving. And I feel great afterwards - all sweaty and buzzed from the fun music and exercise.…

Hi - I'm new also. Turned 50 last May and decided to get serious about losing a lot of weight (75 pounds). Have started at a women's gym 3x/week (1/2 hour cardio and 1/2 hour strength training each session) and last week added Zumba 2/x per week. Am also trying to follow a paleo diet. Have done WW many, many times and…

I started Zumba last week and went to 2 sessions. Goal is to do 3x/week at a local women's gym (1/2 hour cardio, 1/2 hour strength each session) and 2x/week doing Zumba. I'm the biggest woman at both places but I'm moving and getting healthier so am trying not to focus too much on being the biggest. SW: 263 CW: 250 GW: 175
