You look marvelous! Love progress photos! I hit the overweight mark myself this week! What a feeling! Congrats!

Thank you so much!

Thanks much for all the kind comments. I'm sorry I didn't see the questions above. I do cardio 6 days a week. I started out trying to work my up to 300 minutes per week on my exercise bike. I quickly got there. I was logging it at moderate, but my son (a CPA/boot camp instructor) told me that I was biking at vigorous…

I was 253 in December and 202 last Saturday. I'm 5'9." I posted my story and pictures here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/950363-51-pounds-down-since-december-pics

Yay! Wtg!

I can't abide him. Maybe when he started out on the Oprah Show he was okay, and his heart was in the right place, but now the few times I've seen the show (never a full episode) he says one thing one day and something complete opposite the next.

Thanks much! It's my third time in ten years to be summoned for jury duty. My son says they are looking for old people. I'd bop him with my cane but I can't find my glasses. I'm not stressed now. I was this morning when nothing fit. After I got it figured out and out the door, it was funny.

The thrifts don't usually have a lot of 18's, but that's a good idea. I have a lot of courtroom experience, unfortunately. I had to testify in my mom's murder trial. I know the suit is a little more dressy than I need, but I don't want to wear jeans again. I wouldn't wear blue jeans, but the black ones looked fine. I'll…

Also, I got there not late but right on time. There were 500-ish called today, so the room was full. I was so glad there is 60 pounds less of me to squeeze into a "pew." The jury room has pews like a church.

Awesome! I'm so sorry you had to go through all the difficult times, but as I used to tell my kids and my students, you have a long time to be an adult, and the a-holes who bullied you and treated you badly also have a long time to be adults, and they are likely s miserable as they tried to make you. Clearly, you are a…

Isn't it wonderful to shop in your closet? Way to go!

Thanks so much to everyone! I was thinking when I posted those pictures that I look younger, too. I'm really cool with my age, because there's not much choice other than accepting it. I've been using some skin stuff that works well. I'm replacing my department store stuff with Equate products as I run out. Seems to be…

Ah, thanks so much to everyone. I'm 5'9" and I do carry weight well, but trust me there will be plenty left. I want to get to about 168, which is one pound under the highest "normal" weight in the range for my height. With my large frame, that's a good weight for me.

It also brought tears to my eyes. Way to go! You are so young and beautiful. You have your whole life ahead, and what a gift to those kiddos!

Something to be aware of, and it's the reason I almost always log more calories than I actually ate.
-
I'm right there with ya. Down one pound last week. None this week. I slowed the cardio down a bit, as I think I was overtraining and making myself retain water. I know I'm going to get there, just not as quickly as I'd hoped. Hang in there!

Air poppers are great, and the popcorn is probably better for you, but I use the 100 calories packs with butter.

You look great! Congrats!

Posting because I'm interested in responses and want to be able to find the thread.

I have a history of being unrealistic about my weight. I'm 5'9." When I was in high school, I was in the 130's. I remember vividly the day I got my driver's permit. We had to list our weight, and I was the heaviest girl in my circle of friends. They were 5'4" and 115. Or 5'6" and 128. 5'2" and 120." As a silly 15 year old,…

My husband tells people he's lost 26 pounds as a residual affect of my diet. He needed to lose it, and is looking forward to getting in the size 36 jeans in his closet, as well as his good suits and being able to button the top buttons of his dress shirts. (Men lose in their necks!) It's really just a matter of eating…

That's GREAT! Way to go! It's those things that keep us motivated!

Happy dance for you! I'm so glad to see this thread. I am stalled around 206. I lost a pound last week. None this week. I'm hoping to get under 200 by my anniversary mid-April. I'm a little bummed, since I've worked out like CR-azy the last few weeks. I know I'm waterlogged, but I'm so impatient. I posted on FB about being…

I think it works. I pretty rarely go over my calories, but I've noticed when I eat closer to the max and not under, I'll lose more weight that week. I had Spaghetti Warehouse last week--chicken parm and FRIED calamari, the only fried food I've had this year, and I lost 4 pounds. I suspect I've gained some of it back this…

I stopped drinking Coca Cola in November. The first week, I allowed myself as much Zero as I wanted, but I didn't want that much. Maybe once a week, sometimes twice, I'll have a Zero. We have canned Coke around the house, and it doesn't bug me. Last night, my husband had a fountain Coke, my downfall. I took a sip, less…

Good job! You look like a different person.

Turkey on white with white cheese, extra lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, olives and honey mustard. Add bread and butter pickles when I get home. When I first started dropping weight, we ate there a couple times a week, but I've started just making sandwiches at home if we have the craving. I use Ezekial bread and my own…

I made cheese enchiladas with fat free cream cheese and low fat cheddar. Truly bad. Ugh. I'd rather have the real thing and eat less.
