Wow your story moved me to tears. What an inspiration you are!!

I used this program similar to you. I too didn't like the cardio portion and supplemented that in the gym. The strength video is amazing though, and had really helped transform my body. I was beginning to see mucles I didn't know existed.... then I stopped. So i'm thinking its time to try this program again, and this time…

Hello :) My starting weight was 230. I started using Power 90 (a cardio/strength training video offered from BeachBody) and really saw my body beginning to change. I didn't follow the program to a T, but did the strength video at least 3x a week and supplemented with other forms of cardio. I'm now at 160 and I'm…

Thanks for the feedback ladies. @care76 I have been lifting weights for some time, but been neglecting cardio in the process, which is why I want to increase that area. I just hate cardio, can't stand it lol so it takes a lot for me too keep going in that department. Im thinking cardio with 30 days shred or something of…

Because they results that others have experienced are pretty hard to ignore. I have also been slipping with my eating and exercise so I need something new and fresh, as a little pick-me-up

Bump, for some great ideas!!

I am thinking about starting this program. I am trying to lose the final bit of weight and have shifted my focus to more cardio rich workouts until I get to my goal, at which time I will focus again on muscle development. My question to you all, has anyone tried to incorporate this program with other forms of exercise?…

I would always strive for over 1200, even on your non workout days. Anything under that is not healthy. I tend to eat back 1200 plus approximately half of my exercise calories, this keeps me going and is far more sustainable

To the ones critisizing your "don't eat after 8 rule" I too follow this, and no its not becasue I am dumb and honestly believe that my body functions turn off after a certain time, simply because I have a harder time controlling my eating later in the evening. I an ususally watching a movie, end up grazing, eat more junk…

What a marketing ploy, a total waste of time if you ask me.

Ahhhh I am so nervous about this! I plan on getting some cardio in before the guests arrive.... I am also trying baked apples instead of apple pie this year. Of course we will have the usual fare for others not watching what they eat, but I'm hoping that keeping to the vegetable dishes and staying away from the buns…

Nope, don't think so

Perhaps she is one of those people that get intimidated by a partners weight loss. Afraid of you leaving her.. or something like that.. who know?! as mentioned above your best bet would be to talk to her.

I enjoy it quite a bit... It is a great alternative to spaghetti. It does NOT taste the same and I do notice a difference. But that being said it still tastes pretty good. I enjoy it most with tomato based pasta sauces, i found it tasted funky with alfredo, but play around with it, its much more diet friendly than spaghetti

@ Tmoxson:: You're not alone, I too am an apple shape, have a huge belly and no *kitten* lol... It's a little disheartening seeing people the same weight as me but up to 5 inches smaller on the waist. That I attribute to my wonderful apple shape. HA!. Not to worry tho, this is a work in progress :) Weight: 162 Chest: 43…

Ultimately this choice is up to you. I do know that my sister had this procedure about 8 years ago, and has had many complications since. The problem was that it didn't teach her better eating habits so the first several years were trial and error. Figuring out what she can and cannot eat. This often resulted in her over…

I did the same thing at the beginning of september, and everyone thought i was crazy. I am now 4 weeks smoke free and down 10 pounds. It can be done with some hard work and dedication. Best of luck to you xx

I found the majority of condiments that i enjoyed (mainly bbq sauce and mayo) were way too high in calories, salt or fat for my liking. Doesn't seem worth it to me, as i would prefer to save those calories for more meat or things like that. Spices are great for adding flavour without the added cals. But as others have…

I don't know if the water with Mio and the beef necessarily follow the biggest loser guidelines, but I can assure you, through my own personal experience that you can still lose weight while consuming both of these. Red meat is my preferred choice of protein and I eat it at least 4 times a week, I just make sure to keep my…

I found the same thing when I amped up my exercise routine. Good news, it only took a litte over a week for my body to adjust. Apparently it has something to do with cortisol and the way our body retains water. It helped me to drink coconut water (bleeeck :S) or gatorade afterwards, to balance out my electrolytes.
