I had "gut" issues with it. It was almost instant diarrhea LOL I guess my body knows the difference ;)

I tried the Truvia and it had an odd taste. I prefer the granular sweetener, rather than the "powdery" ones. Stevia in the raw is my fave, because you don't need to adjust the amount you use. It's spoon to spoon. The Truvia required less of it. Kroger actually has an organic raw sweetener section in their organic…

Did you know that every time you harvest a crop on Farmville, a child in New Zealand gets a set of leg braces? True story. I saw it on my news feed.

I totally did the same thing the first time I tried Insanity. I did it during the warm up. We win at life.

This is not a "diet" issue, this is a mental health issue. You need to talk to someone about your unhealthy relationship with food. 600 calories isn't enough for your body to run on. It takes a MINIMUM of 1200 just to eat, digest, blink, fart, etc. Your body needs real food to sustain itself. You can't pour coca cola into…

Eff that lady! The day I become a 16/18 is the day I run around my neighborhood naked! Please....prepare bail money. I have 2 more sizes to go....LOL

Wearing 3 bras to hold the girls still is uncomfortable, and when I jog, my thighs rub and it looks like my lady parts are eating my shorts. Omnomnomnom

A work in progress!

Outside of age, we're pretty close! :)

We're pretty close! Age: 29 (30 in July) Height: 5'8" SW: 320 (Guessing on that one. The pics are all I have) CW: 247 GW: 180 (Or a size 12/14)

Not that I'm an expert, but coming from the land of a spinal injury, walking is going to be your best friend. It's free, low impact and will not put extra stress on your joints. As you begin to lose weight, your knee will feel better and your BP will slowly decrease. It's all about consistency and good food choices. More…

I just got a pair of FILA Skele-Toes. I believe mine are the "turbo" style. I cannot work out comfortably with ANY shoe on. I am not a small person by any means, but wearing shoes always felt like I was working against them rather than with them. When attempting to run, I would always end up with shins splints, knee pain…

Last night I was walking and was flanked by 2 guys who where running at breakneck speed but hugging the hub of the treadmill or pushing themselves up off the treadmill with the hand bars. I'm sorry, if you're running that hard, that fast and can't pump your arms properly, you need to slow your roll. You look ridiculous…

I lost 50 before I saw any change in pant size! I'm wondering if maybe I really WASN'T a 24 and just squeezed my *kitten* into jeans that really didn't fit. LOL But 63lbs down and I'm a 20. Slow and steady girl. Slow and steady.

We can't stop here! This is bat country!

If you have a Kroger nearby, they have a great selection of "Amy's" meals in the organic section. They have microwave meals, burritos and the likes. I always keep them as a standby if I don't have time to actually COOK food. They taste great! As for snacks, once a week, chop up some veggies to keep nearby, portion out some…

Amazing! I love people who keep the "slow and steady" mentality. It's not about overnight success. It's about changing your LIFE. The scale can suck it. You look fantastic and can't wait to see you push through that "overweight" title into "Boo Yah!" :)
-
You look AMAZING! It's awesome to see younger people take charge of their health! I started at 320 and started using MFP somewhere at 290. I'm at 250 now and am STUCK but seeing your pics makes me want to push through this plateau and kick *kitten*! :) Add me if you need more buddies!
-
I'm in! This morning I was sitting at 250.2. I'm stuck at a 1 month plateau after a 60 (ish) lb loss. Height: 5ft 8in SW: 320 (ish) CW: 250.2

I've been using "The Biggest Loser" for my Kinect and today managed to do 47 jumping jacks. To some of you, this isn't going to be huge but considering when I started this program I could only do 12, it's HUGE. I'm still having to wear 3 bras when I work out, and I still have 60lbs to go, but one small win at a time! :)
-
I have been wondering about the accuracy with the "On screen" calorie tracker. I know there are times where I'm working hard (butt kicks) where the stupid Kinect doesn't want to see me and I'm huffing and puffing away!! On average, the kinect says I burn 200 calories in 30 min of my workout. Is it safe to assume I probably…

I understand what you are saying. I have a friend who is the same height as I am and weighs 30lbs less than I do, but still wears smaller clothing and looks better. That whole "muscle weighs more" BS can only float you so far. I know I'm not meant to be a size 00, but a 13 would be nice! LOL
-
As the red lines go in a circle around the screen I chant "No whammies, no whammies......" and then usually say "THAT'S IT?????"
-
UGH! I feel your pain. I usually gain 4lbs of bloat for "that" week so I don't even bother weighing in. I fight my cravings by distracting myself with things like working out, cleaning, giving myself a pedi, basically anything that doesn't involve sitting still long enough to eat. If you absolutely HAVE to have your…

I tried to do Insanity after being unhappy with p90x. Not gonna lie, it'll kick your @ss!!! I honestly couldn't make it through the warm up in the beginning. I ended up having to stop the videos due to a back injury but if you are coordinated and prepared to hurt, go for it! LOL
