I looked up this topic because I am 5' 2" at 133lbs and was wearing a 4 or 6. I've since started working with a Personal trainer and pretty much maintain the same weight now at 130lbs and this weekend I bought size 2 pants at The Limited, Banana Republic and Madewell. I am no longer feeling so scale focused.

That will be hard to maintain. 1200-1400 is low enough for weight loss and will be easier on you as you get started.

Pre-logging has definitely worked for me. I pretty much always have the same breakfast, and I plan out dinners by the week so I will log that information and leave lunch and snacks open for variation.
