I haven't done 30DS but if it more strength than cardio you probably will see a lower burn but better tone in your muscle over time. Perhaps supplement your workout with a short run or jog afterwards and it will help your muscles loosen up and and let go of the lactic acid as well.

I do that and take a sip of water after every bite. It has really really helped me in my portion control, especially at restaurants when the waiter is slow to bring me the box I ask for to put half my meal away.

Honestly 1500 calories over is a lot. But if you compare it to your actual maintenance calories for your weight you might not actually be that much over. I always eat at least part of mine. I can't always eat all of them. But you really should be trying to net at least 1200 calories a day. So if your goal is already set at 1200 and you burn 600 then yes you should eat at least some of them so that you are still getting close to a net of 1200.

When I lived closer to my aunts farm I used to do that kind of work all the time. For now I might count it as cleaning heavy effort but I would highly suggest a heart rate monitor like the polar ft4 or ft7 if yoy are concerned with accuracy.

I think the bmr calculator on MFP must use a different equation because it gives me a lower number than the BMR calculator that I usually use.

My vote would definitely be for the polar ft4. Its reasonably priced, easy to set up, comes with a chest strap, shows calories burned , and cann be used for swimming. I love mine!
