I love my Fitbit One. I've had it a little more than two weeks and it's awesome. It interfaces with MFP so you do little recording. I will tell you that Fitbit's food base and recording is a pain. I and many others that have the Fitbit, do all of our food logging on MFP and let the Fitbit do all of the exercise recording,…

I'm sorry you're husband lost it but, it is hard for some to get used to all the non-fat stuff, myself included but I have the determination to lose so I can handle all the change. My husband HATE's diet food too, anything non-fat so, I just buy my non fat stuff but I also get him his real milk and real half & half for the…

I treat her like she is the most important person in my life everyday (because she is), so we don't feel the need to make some grandiose gesture 1 time a year. What a sweet thing to say!!!, perfect note to put in her card.

I, like you, can ruin my whole day and possibly be depressed for days when I step on the scale. I only weigh myself, once a week. Now that I am diligently exercising, it gives me a thrill to step on and see my weight, which is starting to be less every week. My real measurement of progress though, is a pair of jeans I love…

Squats for sure. Try this, put your legs shoulder width apart, toes pointing out, squat and then bring your knees in and out to the front, you'll look like your doing the Chicken dance in the squatting position.

I hear you and am/have been in the same boat. I was able to maintain 150 lbs going to the gym 5 to 6 days a week, did Zumba, Yoga and Pilates and some cycling and treadmill walking and didn't starve myself but stayed away from bad stuff, sweets and fast food. I had to quit the gym for financial and other reasons and I…

I don't know how long you've been trying but, don't be discouraged. I lost 3lbs my first week, gained all 3 back the next but lost 2 the week after that. But I know that I'm doing something right by the way my clothes are fitting. It takes time to lose, just like it took time to gain it. And you're not wasting your time…

I love Greek Gods Honey flavor but I think I'm going to have to give Fage a try. I have the Chobanie Greek Vanilla in the fridge and I'm really disappointed. It's too sour for me. I like the 'cooked" taste of the Greek Gods.

I'm sorry to say, YES! I have been in the same boat since 2005. I will go 6 months with no cycle and the hot flashes when I'm not cycling and I went 8 months last year and thought I might finally be done but, no. And this latest stint has been the worst. I'm desperate for something to get rid of the hot flashes and it…

4.3lbs is AWESOME! Did you ever see Oprah wheel out how much weight she lost in ground hamburger? Just imagine what 4.3 lbs, even 1lb of meat looks like and that came off of your body. Don't be discouraged, it just takes time.

I'm new here also and you can add me.

I am having to get used to eating breakfast, I don't usually but, I know you need to. I live in AZ and it's too hot to eat cooked oatmeal most of the time so I make Refrigerator Oatmeal. You can vary this any way you like with the fruit and yogurt combo's, I'll tell you my favorite and it's so filling, after my morning…

Off this subject, I love the Pontiac!!!! I had a 66 GTO that my husband totaled. I would give an arm and a leg to get it back.

If you're not a "flavor" coffee drinker, Tully's Kona coffee is great coffee. It has a lot of rich flavor without that bite French roast has.

Ok 80's time? I used to love to work out to "Chains of Love". Although I love Harry too!

I am new to this site and have really never joined anything like this but I am really glad I heard about it. I am getting back in the saddle again after a year of falling off the exercise discipline wagon. Our company is launching a "Biggest Loser" contest at work and recommended this site to everyone. I do not want to…
