If you don't have a tracker, then using your phone as a pedometer sounds like a great idea.

I was sick with bronchitis. NO exercise. Eating not good. Totally off my game. Plus prednisone and antibiotics. Gained .5 lbs. Boo!

Starting weight 165.3 lbs, today 162.7 lbs. 2.6 lb loss! I am down 16.8 lbs so far. I can't wait to get below 158 lbs as I will finally be out of the obese BMI category!

I am 5' 1". Weight has been up and down over the last 5 years since I quit smoking. Highest weight ever was 179.5 lbs September 2014. I lost 15 lbs by January 2015 and then my mom was in a really bad accident and I had to take care of her for 3 months, on top of working oodles of OT. So training, exercise, tracking all…

I have had Ultra for a couple of years, then upgraded to Flex since it came out, and my Surge was supposed to be delivered today, but now FedEx says tomorrow. Boo! I had no plans to upgrade as I LOVE my Flex and have a whole bunch of different colored bands. But I started c25k about 4 weeks ago and I am hoping the Surge…

The reason most people fail instead of succeed is that they trade what they want the MOST for what they want at the MOMENT." Story of my life! But I am going to try to get better! I am new to this group but not new to MFP. I turned 50 last May and need to stop the downward slide. I joined a gym and have been working with a…

I need to use my crock pot more!

I even have the stress test every year at the cardiologist where I am on the treadmill hooked up to all of the machines, and always pass with flying colors!
-
Yes, I have a physical every year. Again, no known health issues.

Thanks everyone! The dizziness happens when I get really winded and out of breath (huffing and puffing). It makes me light headed. I have had heart tests and stress tests and EKGS and lung capacity tests. Blood pressure, etc. ALL have been fine. I think I am just more out of shape than I thought.

The one that is driving me crazy and I never hope to hear again: "Starvation mode."

Do you have a YMCA near you? They have all kinds of work out classes for women over 60. They even have aqua aerobics and aqua Zumba classes for low impact. My big "fall back" though is just plain old walking! Grab an Ipod and some great music and just go for a walk!

You are doing great!

I have the Zumba games for Wii and Wii U. I love the Wii U Version. How are the DVD's compared with the Wii U game? I love the music!

I run on a treadmill and have never had any issues with my Flex. It seems to count my steps just fine. Distance is slightly different than what the treadmill says due to stride length (walking vs running) but I don't care. Everything is relative.

I had the Ultra, which I guess is like the One. It fell off my bra a few times and I almost lost it. I have the Flex with different colored bands, I swap out all of the time. I do wear watches on the same wrist and I am OK with it. I just buy skinny watches, LOL! But I find that I can check the time with my cell phone,…

I have a Flex with many different color bands: black, navy blue, lime green, orange, light blue, hot pink. I don't have red or purple yet, LOL! I switch out the colors to match whatever I am wearing or just to suit my mood. I live in the US. Slacked off for a long time, but finally back on track!…

Thanks! I was doing pretty well all day. I ate clean and healthy- oatmeal, soy milk, apple, Greek yogurt, cashews, coffee, water. I even tried to spread it out. I went to the gym at 5pm and was out at 6pm and the last thing on my mind was food! I was so tired and nauseous! I cooked dinner for the family and sort of made…

I was out for 6 months due to bronchitis and I pinched a nerve in my neck and had zero mobility in my left shoulder. I was in SO much pain. I went to the chiropractor and now I feel SO much better and finally have pushed myself to get back on track. I joined a gym and I am working with a trainer. And I am SO glad that my…

I bought myself a set of exercise bands. I am going to get the trainer to teach me how to use them. I travel sometimes and they come in a travel bag. I thought it would be a nice quick work out for when I can't get to the gym.…

I struggle with this as well. I love Greek yogurt!

I have the Flex and love it. I have had it about 2 years now (since shortly after they came out.) I had the Ultra before that. The Ultra clipped on my bra but I found it to be uncomfortable, depending on the bra. (ie: Some bras have bows or embellishments on them and the clip doesn;t clip too well.) Also, I almost lost the…

I signed up with a personal trainer. I am 50, very out of shape/overweight, and had a shoulder injury earlier this year. I want to lose weight efficiently, and safely. I am really excited! She helps pump me up, try new things. she is teaching me proper form. It is helping with my confidence. It isn't cheap, but I quit…
